Liebe Besucher,
Liebe Gäste,
Von der großen Welt auf den Laufsteg.
Die Mode ist überall präsent und begleitet uns auf Schritt und Tritt. Das diesjährige
Thema „Mannequins“ bringt uns in die schnelllebige Modewelt. Unsere Künstler verfolgen die Aufgabe die sanften und
harten Formen der „Mannequins“ auf Holz zu übertragen.
Die Vielfalt ist fast grenzenlos. So freuen wir uns schon, vielleicht Werke von bekannten Designer zu bewundern.
Es bleibt spannend und wir freuen uns auf eine Woche voller künstlerisches Handwerk und bestaunen die Entwicklung
eines Baumstammes zur Skulptur.
Ein großer Dank geht dabei an das OK-Team und unsere lokale Künstlern, welche Hand in Hand diesen Event vorantreiben.
Ich hoffe auf einen großen Andrang von Gästen, Gönnern, Fachpublikum und Interessierten.

Dal grande mondo alla passerella.
La moda è ovunque e ci accompagna in ogni momento. Il tema di quest’anno, “Mannequins/manichini”, ci porta nel mondo
frenetico della moda. I nostri artisti perseguono il compito di trasferire le forme morbide e dure dei “manichini” sul legno.
La varietà è quasi illimitata. Siamo quindi impazienti di ammirare possibili opere di designer famosi.
Siamo elettrizzati e non vediamo l’ora di passare una settimana piena di artigianato artistico e di lasciarci stupire per lo sviluppo
di un tronco d’albero in una scultura.
Un grande ringraziamento va al team OK e ai nostri artisti locali che lavorano mano nella mano per portare avanti questo evento.
Spero di vedere una grande affluenza di ospiti, professionisti e persone interessate.

Sehr geehrte Künstlerinnen und Künstler,
liebe Kulturfreunde,
es freut mich sehr, dass die 12. Auflage des Internationalen Ahrntaler Holzbildhauer-
symposiums heuer wieder ausgetragen werden kann.
Interessierte werden die verschiedenen internationalen Künstlerinnen und Künstler
wiederum in der Ortschaft Luttach vom 05.07.2021 - 11.07.2021 während ihres künst-
lerischen Schaffens direkt vor Ort beobachten können sowie am jeweiligen Standort unter freiem Himmel mitverfolgen
können, wie sie einfache Holzklötze in Kunstwerke zum Thema „Mannequins“ verwandeln.
Das Dorf Luttach wird in den Tagen des Holzbildhauersymposiums erneut zu einer Künstlerwerkstatt aufblühen.
Dadurch wird wieder in besonderer Weise dazu beigetragen, den Namen unserer Gemeinde in bedeutender Weise weit
über die Gemeindegrenzen hinauszutragen.
Dem Tourismusverein Ahrntal als Organisator dieses Events spreche ich seitens der Gemeindeverwaltung ein großes Dan-
keschön für sein Engagement, seinen großen und vorbildlichen Einsatz sowie für alle Bemühungen in schwierigen Zeiten
wie diesen aus.
Möge diese Veranstaltung eine Plattform für einen fachlichen sowie persönlichen Dialog bieten und den Austausch zwi-
schen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern, Interessierten und Vertretern aus dem kulturellen Bereich fördern.
Freuen wir uns auf ein weiteres Internationales Ahrntaler Holzbildhauersymposium, das sicherlich wieder wundervolle,
bleibende Eindrücke hinterlassen wird.

Cari artisti, cari amici della cultura,
Sono molto contento che la dodicesima edizione del Simposio internazionale di scultura in legno della Valle Aurina possa
aver luogo anche quest’anno.
Le persone interessate potranno di nuovo osservare i vari artisti internazionali direttamente sul posto a Lutago dal
05.07.2021 al 11.07.2021 mentre lavorano ed osservarli all’aria aperta nelle loro rispettive sedi mentre trasformano sem-
plici blocchi di legno in opere d’arte sul tema “Mannequins”. ‘
Lutago si trasformerà ancora una volta in un laboratorio culturale durante i giorni del simposio di scultura nel legno. Questo
contribuirà ancora una volta in modo speciale a portare il nome della nostra comunità in modo significativo ben oltre i
confini della comunità. A nome dell’amministrazione comunale, vorrei esprimere i miei più sinceri ringraziamenti all’Asso-
