Da haben wir uns noch vor nicht allzu langer Zeit im Hafen in Münster
getroffen und bei einem Kaffee an Deck und später auf der Terrasse
meines Büros über den Genuss des Ruhestands und des Lebens auf dem
Wasser philosophiert. Und gestern dann erfahre ich über einen
gemeinsamen Geschäftsfreund, dass Dr. Pfeifer die letzte Reise
angetreten hat. Daher möchte ich - umständebedingt mit einiger
Verspätung - der Familie meine Anteilnahme aussprechen. Meine
Gedanken sind bei Ihnen und bei Dr. Pfeifer, den ich in besonderer
Erinnerung behalte - als wirklich "feinen Kerl".

Egmont,
We have only been able to meet you a few times, but have fond
memories of these encounters.
The last time in the spring of 2019 in Sneek, when we saw the
“Sterna/Maxima” lying on the quay and when we went to have a look
we were asked in so warmly by you two.
Dear Marion, we wish you a lot of strength in the near future and if you
come to Sneek again you are definitely invited to come by, maybe we
can exchange nice stories about our times at the “Sterna / Maxima”.

Mit Trauer habe ich die Nachricht von Egmond erhalten. Am
allerwenigsten hätte ich eine solche Nachricht erwartet da er doch noch
so jung und lebhaft war. Habe ihn gut in Erinnerung und werde die
gemeinsamen verbrachten Stunden nie vergessen.
Wir alle erreichen einmal unsere Lebensgrenze, und so will ich für
unseren Verstorbenen Egmond beten, damit ihn der Übergang in eine
seelische und bessere Welt leichter werde.
Mein herzichstes Beileid für alle Familienmitlgieder, Freunde und
Kollegen.

Zum Verlust von Dr. Egmont Pfeifer möchte ich Ihrer Familie, Freunde
und Kollegen mein Beileid aussprechen.

Egmont war ein lebensfroher Mensch und ein ausgezeichneter Führer,
mit dem uns mehr als nur die Arbeit verband.

Sein Tod hinterlässt eine große Lücke und wir werden Ihn immer in

Deeply schocked with the sad news of the sudden death of Dr. Egmond
Pfeifer.

Dear Dr. Pfeifer,
As a Director of Business Unit Pharma and later on as CEO of the
Division Functional Products we worked together for more than 20
years.
In all those years you showed leadership and excellent management
performance.
You made an continious outstanding contribution to the further
development of the company.
Under your direction the expansion took place by establishing wordwide
sales offices and agent networks.
You were highly respected by your employees in Wasserburg and in all
our affiliates.
Moreover at the IAC the respect for you as a leader and as a person was
openly shown by all of our agents worldwide.
You gave your staff at a very young age responsibility. Trust,
motivation and helpfullness were your key issues for development of
your employees.

You always planned your business so you did for your after retirement
time. Your boat took a large part of it. Unfortunately the time for you to
enjoy was very short.

Thank you Dr. Pfeifer for all you have done and meant to us. We will
never forget.

We wish Mrs. Pfeifer strenghs in these difficult days. Our thoughts will
company you in this time.

we are still chocked and deeply sorry for dr Pfeifer's loss , a person so
much dedicated to his work and able to make people comfortable
around him. I keep personally many splendid memories with him
during the agency meetings around the world.

Deeply shocked with the news about Dr. Pfeifer.
For decades we had worked together in a great spirit with a dedication
for our work and for the people behind the job.

With grief and utter disbelief we were informed of the passing away of

Dr. med. vet. Egmont G. Pfeifer

on 15th February 2021 at the age of 66.

Dr. Egmont G. Pfeifer served for MEGGLE as a crucial and esteemed
personality for more than 20 years, first as Director BG Excipients &
Technology and later as Managing Director for Functional Products. His
loyalty, quest for excellence and the concern for his staff were driving
forces in shaping his department and left a permanent imprint beyond
his retirement. His grip on life and down-to-earth humor left a deep
impression on all who got to know him. His loss will be mourned by
many.

Our deepest sympathy goes to his family and relatives.

Mit tiefer Bestürzung habe ich die traurige Nachricht vernommen und
wünsche auf diesem Wege der Trauerfamilie viel Kraft und Zuversicht
für die bevorstehende Zeit. Herr Pfeifer war mir als herzensguter
Mensch in Erinnerung, der positiv und mit viel Elan durchs Leben ging.

Vielen Dank für die schöne Erfahrung, die ich mit Ihnen erleben durfte.
Die Zeit als Vetreter in der Schweiz will ich nicht missen, danke Herr

Dear Dr Pfeifer,

Thank you for being a great boss and a great mentor. You have led with
strength and dignity. You have provided warmth and compassion to
people around.

We have spent time in the office but the moments after work were the
ones I missed most. We drank, enjoyed the sunset while sailing down
Mekong Delta. Food has been a great part of our exchanges. I talked
about tasting and you described about cooking it.

With a heavy heart, I bid you farewell. May heaven reward this kind
soul with peace and compassion. May those that have been touched by

Es ist so erstauenlich traurige Nachrichte wie Donner an einem
sonnigen Tag, dass Herr Dr. Pfeifer so ploetzlich gegangen ist.

Es war eigentlich viel viel zu frueh. EGP war immer unendlich aktiv.

Die unbeschreibliche Trauer aus mich, meine Familie und Kollegen,
sogar aus chinesische Distributoren.
