La technologie LED offre des utilisations beaucoup plus étendues et créatives, mais pas toujours une qualité de lumière optimale. Il appartient donc au fabricant de proposer à ses clients des produits parfaitement optimisés et utilisant les dernières technologies. Les équipes CALI travaillent constamment à l’amélioration des produits afin qu’ils soient le plus adaptés à chaque utilisations. La marque, déposée, CALI Comfort a été crée afin de réunir des produits spécialement conçus pour le confort et la protection des yeux. La lumière bleue inquiète beaucoup car elle peut engendrer des dommages photochimiques de la rétine
selon l’intensité de la lumière et le temps d’exposition de l’oeil. Comme les LED ont remplacé l’ensemble
des sources lumineuses cette question devient centrale.
La norme NF62471 définit quatres groupes de dangerosité pour les sources de rayonnements optiques
liés à la durée d’exposition maximaleadmissible de l’oeil à la lumière :
• GR0 - groupe de risque 0 : pas de risque quel que soit le temps d’observation de la source
• GR1 - groupe de risque 1 (risque faible) : temps d’exposition maximal de 10 000 s (3h)
• GR2 - groupe de risque 2 (risque modéré) : temps d’exposition maximal de 100 s
• GR3 - groupe de risque 3 (risque élevé) : temps d’exposition maximal de 0.25 s
Les sources utilisées dans nos gammes CALI Confort seront toutes des Groupes 0 (Aucun risque
photobiologique) ou Groupe 1 (Aucun risque photobiologique dans les limites de comportements
normaux). Mais cette norme a aussi ses limites, les valeurs sont calculées pour une durée d’exposition
de 8h par jour et ne tient pas compte de la possibilité d’une exposition pendant la vie entière.
Le niveau de Kelvin a aussi une influence sur le niveau de la lumière bleue. Une Lumière plus chaude
donc au Kelvin plus bas (2700K) contiendra en général moins de lumière bleue qu’une lumière froide au
kelvin élevé (6500K).

Blue light is of great concern because it can cause photochemical damage to the retina depending on
the intensity of the light and the time of exposure of the eye. As LEDs have replaced all light sources,
this question becomes crucial. Standard NF62471 defines four groups of danger for sources of optical
radiation linked to the maximum admissible exposure time of the eye to light:
• GR0 - risk group 0: no risk whatever the observation time of the source
• GR1 - risk group 1 (low risk): maximum exposure time of 10,000 s (3h)
• GR2 - risk group 2 (moderate risk): maximum exposure time of 100 s
• GR3 - risk group 3 (high risk): maximum exposure time of 0.25 s
The sources used in our CALI Comfort ranges will all be Group 0 (No photobiological risk) or Group 1 (No
photobiological risk within the limits of normal behavior). But this standard is subject to restrictions that
result from the methodology used. The values are calculated for an exposure time of 8 hours per day and do
not take into account that we are exposed to optical radiation for several hours every single day of our lives.
The Kelvin level also has an influence on the level of blue light. Warmer light therefore at lower Kelvin
(2700K) will generally contain less blue light than cold light at high Kelvin (6500K).

Blaues Licht ist von großer Bedeutung, da es abhängig von der Intensität des Lichts und der Zeit der
Exposition des Auges zu einer photochemischen Schädigung der Netzhaut führen kann. Da LEDs alle
Lichtquellen ersetzt haben, wird diese Frage zentral.
Die Norm NF62471 definiert vier Gefahrengruppen für optische Strahlungsquellen in Verbindung mit der
maximal zulässigen Belichtungszeit des Auges:
• GR0 - Risikogruppe 0: Unabhängig von der Beobachtungszeit der Quelle kein Risiko
• GR1 - Risikogruppe 1 (geringes Risiko): maximale Expositionszeit von 10.000 s (3h)
• GR2 - Risikogruppe 2 (mittleres Risiko): maximale Expositionszeit von 100 s
• GR3 - Risikogruppe 3 (hohes Risiko): maximale Expositionszeit von 0,25 s
Die in unseren CALI Comfort-Produktreihen verwendeten Quellen sind alle der Gruppe 0 (kein
photobiologisches Risiko) oder der Gruppe 1 (kein photobiologisches Risiko im Rahmen des normalen
Verhaltens). Dennoch dieser Standard unterliegt Einschränkungen, die sich aus der verwendeten Methodik
ergeben. Die Werte sind für eine Exposition von 8 Stunden pro Tag berechnet und berücksichtigen nicht,
dass wir jeden Tag unseres Lebens mehrere Stunden der Lichtstrahlung ausgesetzt sind.
Die Kelvin-Stufe hat auch Einfluss auf die Blaulichtstärke. Wärmeres Licht bei niedrigerem Kelvin-Wert (2700 K)
enthält daher im Allgemeinen weniger blaues Licht als kaltes Licht bei hohem Kelvin-Wert (6500 K).

ANTI-ÉBLOUISSEMENT :
L’éblouissement est l’un des facteurs d’inconfort les plus importants en
termes d’éclairage. Des luminaires LED de fortes puissances ou avec des
faisceaux lumineux mal adaptés peuvent représenter un risque plus
important pour la rétine et le cristallin notamment chez les enfants dont le

ANTI-GLARE :
Glare is one of the most important discomfort factors in terms of lighting.
LED luminaires of high power or with ill-adapted light beams can
represent a greater risk for the retina and the lens, especially in children whose lens are not fully developed
until around 10 years of age. In our CALI Comfort portfolio we offer ranges of ANTI-glare luminaires in order to
limit direct or indirect glare from light and improve the comfort of your eyes.

Blendung gehört zu den unangenehmsten visuellen Störungen, die mit der Beleuchtung verbunden sind. LED-
Leuchten mit hoher Leistung oder mit schlecht angepassten Lichtstrahlen können ein höhes Risiko für die
Netzhaut und die Augenlinse darstellen, insbesondere bei Kindern, deren Augenlinse erst im Alter von 10 Jahren
vollständig entwickelt ist. In unserer CALI Confort-Reihe bieten wir ein Sortiment von ANTI-Glare-Leuchten an,
um die direkte oder indirekte Blendung durch Licht zu begrenzen und den Komfort Ihrer Augen zu verbessern.

07 LE SCINTILLEMENT ET L’EFFET STROBOSCOPIQUE : Le scintillement et l’effet stroboscopique sont des phénomènes qui influent sur la perception lumineuse ou la perception du mouvement. Ils sont liés à différents facteurs comme des perturbations des réseaux électriques ou à des variateurs de faibles qualités. Les éclairages qui possèdent un effet de scintillement ou stroboscopique ont un impact sur le confort visuel, sur la performance et peuvent provoquer des gênes oculaires ou encore augmenter la fréquence de maux de tête et d’autres problèmes. Les luminaires de la gamme CALI Confort cherchent à réduire au maximum ces deux effets pour offrir un éclairage performant avec le moins de gêne oculaire possible. FLICKERING AND THE STROBE EFFECT : Flicker and strobe are phenomena that affect light perception or the perception of movement. They are linked to various factors such as disturbances in the electrical networks or to low-quality drivers. Lighting that has a flickering or strobe effect has an impact on visual comfort, performance and can cause eye discomfort or increase the frequency of headaches and other problems. The luminaires in the CALI Confort range have been developed to reduce these two effects as much as possible to provide high-performance lighting with the least possible eye discomfort. FLACKERN UND DER STROBE-EFFEKT : Flimmern und Blitzen sind Phänomene, die die Licht- oder Bewegungswahrnehmung beeinflussen. Sie hängen mit verschiedenen Faktoren zusammen, z. B. mit Störungen in den elektrischen Netzen oder mit minderwertigen Antrieben. Licht, das flackert oder einen Strobe-Effekt hat, wirkt sich auf den Sehkomfort und die Leistung aus und kann zu Augenbeschwerden führen oder die Häufigkeit von Kopfschmerzen und anderen gesundheitlichen Problemen erhöhen. Die Leuchten der CALI Confort-Serie wurden entwickelt um diese beiden Effekte so weit wie möglich zu reduzieren, um eine leistungsstarke Beleuchtung mit möglichst wenig negativen Auswirkungen auf die Augen zu erzielen.

La qualité des couleurs perçues par les utilisateurs est influencée par la qualité de la source lumineuse. Sous
une lumière au rendu de couleur faible les tons de peau ou les couleurs des objets peuvent être dégradés et
sembler ternes ou sous-saturés.
L’IRC ou Indice de Rendu des Couleurs est un indice qui permet de mesurer l’aptitude d’une source lumineuse
à bien rendre les couleurs. Plus l’indice est élevé, meilleur est le rendu des couleurs. Un IRC inférieur à 80 est
considéré pauvre. A l’inverse un IRC supérieur à 90 est considéré comme élevé.
Pour notre gamme CALI Confort, nous avons choisi de ne proposer que des sources lumineuses possédant un
IRC supérieur ou égal à 80 ou 90.
COLOR RENDERING :
The quality of the colors perceived by users is influenced by the quality of the light source.
Under low color rendering light, skin tones or object colors may be degraded and appear dull or undersaturated.
The CRI or Color Rendering Index is an index that measures the ability of a light source to render colors well. The
higher the index, the better the color rendering. A CRI below 80 is considered poor. Conversely, a CRI above 90 is
considered high.
For our CALI Confort range, we have chosen to only offer light sources with a CRI greater than or equal to 80 or 90.
FARBWIEDERGABE :
Die Qualität der vom Benutzer wahrgenommenen Farben wird von der Qualität der Lichtquelle
beeinflusst. Beim zu schwachem Licht für die Farbwiedergabe können Hauttöne oder Farben der
Gegenstände negativ beeinträchtigt werden und matt oder ungesättigt erscheinen. Der CRI- oder
Farbwiedergabeindex ist ein Index, der die Fähigkeit einer Lichtquelle
misst, Farben gut wiederzugeben. Je höher der Index, desto besser
die Farbwiedergabe. Ein CRI unter 80 gilt als schlecht. Umgekehrt
wird ein CRI über 90 als hoch angesehen.
Für unsere CALI Confort-Produktreihe bieten
wir nur Lichtquellen mit einem CRI von
mindestens 80 oder 90 an.
