Sehr geehrte Kolleginnen und Kollegen! Wir freuen uns Ihnen auch heuer im Rahmen der „International Postgraduate Summer School in Dentistry“ der Universitätszahnklinik Graz wieder ein attraktives, praxisnahes Programm aus vielen Teilbereichen der Zahn- medizinfür die1.Juliwoche2014alsSommerauftaktpräsentierenzudürfen.AuchdiesesJahrwollenwirdenSchwer- punkt der Veranstaltung gezielt auf das Vermitteln praktischer Fertigkeiten und Techniken am Patienten legen. Um unserem Grundkonzept gerecht zu werden, möglichst viele Teilbereiche der Zahnmedizin zu beleuchten, haben wir auchindiesemJahrwiederinunseremProgrammneueThemenaufgegriffen.SomitwirdesheuererstmalsVorträge und Workshops auf den Gebieten „Komplikationsmanagement“ und „Zahntraumatologie“ geben. Ebenso haben wirdie„traditionell“stattfindendenBeiträgeerweitertundaktualisiert,sodasswirauchheuerwiedereinespannende Fortbildungswoche versprechen können. Auch wird es wieder Workshops für zahnärztliche Assistentinnen und für Zahntechniker im Rahmen der Summer School geben. Wie in den Vorjahren wird es abgesehen von dem umfassenden theoretischen Programm und attraktiven Übungen an Modellen, Schweinekiefern und extrahierten Zähnen, für Kursteilnehmer wieder die einzigartige Möglichkeit geben, selbst Patienten unter professioneller Assistenz zu operieren. Mit diesem umfangreichen Fortbildungsangebot möchten wir sowohl „frischen“ Studienabsolventen die Möglichkeit bieten ihr Fachwissen zu vertiefen, als auch erfahrenen Kollegen aus der Praxis gezielt Teilbereiche theoretisch und praktisch aufzufrischen und würden uns freuen auch heuer wieder Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus unseren Nachbarländern begrüßen zu dürfen. Hierfür wird wieder ein Übersetzerteam zur Verfügung stehen. Wir sind überzeugt Ihnen mit diesem erweiterten Programm wieder eine attraktive Fortbildungswoche anbieten zu können und würden uns freuen Sie und Ihr Praxisteam in der „Summer School Graz 2014“ vom 30. Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to present the 4th “International Postgraduate Summer School in Dentistry“ at the University Dental Clinic of Graz. As in the last years the main principle of the Summer School is to offer an attractive and practically orientated program covering many specialties of dentistry. According to our basic concept to integrate successively all sectors of dentistry, we expanded the program and included new topics such as “complication management“ and “dental traumatology”. In combination with the updated and expanded “traditional” topics it will be again an exciting week of dental education. Due to the positive feedback we will again provide workshops for the dental assistance and dental technicians to give you the option to bring the entire team of your practice to the Summer School. Apart from broad theoretical updates, training on pig jaws and extracted teeth, participants will again have the unique chance to perform surgeries on patients under professional assistance. A key element of the Summer School should be its international character created by participants from different countries. Therefore we will provide a team of professional translators for our international participants. So, no matter if you just graduated from Dental school, would like to update your skills or install new fields in your dental practice, we hope to offer an attractive course series for you and your practice team and would be more than happy to welcome you and your team at our “Summer School Graz 2014” from 30th of June until 4th of July in Graz.
