Sehr geehrte Messebesucher, liebe Aussteller,
herzlich willkommen auf der interzum 2019! Wir wünschen Ihnen spannende Erfahrungen
und gute Gespräche.
Die nächsten Tage dreht sich alles um Möbelfertigung und Innenausbau. Dabei ist Holz
nicht wegzudenken. Holz als Werkstoff spielt hierbei nach wie vor eine bedeutende Rolle.
Haben Sie sich in diesem Zusammenhang schon einmal mit verantwortungsvoller Holzwirt-
schaft beschäftigt?
Der Trend zu schonendem und vertretbarem Konsum bei den Verbrauchern hält ungebro-
chen an. Mit FSC können Möbelhersteller und -anbieter den Beitrag ihrer Produkte für eine
nachhaltige Waldwirtschaft sichtbar machen. Führende Anbieter wie die Otto Group, IKEA
oder Kaiser+Kraft haben sich für FSC entschieden und bieten zunehmend vollständig FSC-
zertifizierte Sortimente und Modellserien an. Nachhaltigkeit in der Produktion bietet damit
eine Chance für Imagebildung und Verbrauchervertrauen, was sich letztendlich positiv auf
den Unternehmensgewinn auswirkt.
Forstwirtschaft nach FSC bedeutet, den Wald so zu bewirtschaften, dass natürliche Lebens-
räume erhalten bleiben und die lokale Bevölkerung unterstützt wird, während die Wirtschaft-
lichkeit des FSC-zertifizierten Waldes gewährleistet ist.
In diesem Jahr präsentiert der FSC die neue Kampagne: Gemeinsam sind wir FSC /
Together we are FSC.
Die Kampagne ist mit den Zielen der Vereinten Nationen für nachhaltige Entwicklung
(SDG's) verknüpft. FSC leistet Beitrag zu 14 der 17 SDGs, die sich mit ökologischen und
sozialen Fragen in Wäldern auf der ganzen Welt befassen. Dies macht FSC zu einer Lösung
für alle, die ihren Beitrag zur Erreichung der SDGs leisten wollen. Die Kampagne zeigt: Wir
sind alle FSC - alle, von Waldbesitzern über Waldarbeiter bis zu Produzenten, von NGOs
bis zu Verbrauchern auf der ganzen Welt. Wenn wir zusammenarbeiten, können wir eine
bessere Zukunft gestalten.
Im Vergleich zu 2015 stieg die Anzahl der FSC-zertifizierten Aussteller auf der interzum
2019 von 190 auf aktuell 300. In der öffentlichen Datenbank finden Sie alle FSC-Zertifikats-
inhaber weltweit: www.info.fsc.org.
Bei mehr als 1.800 Ausstellern verliert man schnell den Überblick. Mit dieser Broschüre
helfen wir Ihnen, die FSC-zertifizierten Aussteller schnell zu finden.

Dear visitors, dear exhibitors,
welcome to interzum 2019! We wish you exciting experiences and good conversations.
The next few days will be all about furniture production and interior finishing. Wood is indis-
pensable. Wood continues to play an important role as a material. Have you ever dealt with
responsible timber management in this context?
The trend towards conscious and justifiable consumption by consumers continues una-
bated. With FSC, furniture manufacturers and suppliers can visualize the contribution of their
products to sustainable forest management. Leading suppliers such as the Otto Group,
IKEA and Kaiser+Kraft have opted for FSC and are increasingly offering FSC certified
ranges and product series.
This shows that sustainable production offers an opportunity for image building and con-
sumer confidence, which ultimately has a positive effect on company profits.
Forest management according to FSC means managing the forest in a way that natural
habitats are preserved and the local population is supported, while guaranteeing the profit-
ability of the FSC certified forest.
This year FSC presents their new campaign: Gemeinsam sind wir FSC / Together we are
FSC.
The campaign is linked to the goals of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals
(SDG's). FSC contributes to 14 of the 17 SDG's dealing with ecological and social issues in
forests around the world. This makes FSC a solution for all who want to contribute to the
achievement of the SDGs. The campaign shows: We are all FSC - everyone from forest
owners to forest workers to producers, from NGOs to consumers around the world. If we
work together, we can build a better future.
Compared to 2015, the number of FSC certified exhibitors at interzum 2019 has risen from
190 to currently 300. In the public database you will find all FSC certificate holders world-
wide: www.info.fsc.org.
With more than 1,800 exhibitors, it's easy to lose track. This brochure will help you to find
FSC certified exhibitors quickly.
