            Das fluide Zusammenwirken von Mensch, Kultur und Natur, sowie auch das vermehrt
            „unfluide“ Verhältnis derer, rücken in den Fokus künstlerisch raumbildender Interven-
            tionen. Wo liegen die Parallelen, Gegenüberstellungen und Schwellen, wo zerlaufen
            deren Grenzen und wie lässt es sich aufzeigen?

            Die Welt sieht wachsenden Herausforderungen entgegen und scheint an diversen
            Stellen aus dem Gleichgewicht zu geraten. Neben dem ökologischen Wandel wie der
            Klimakrise, stehen wir auch politischen und sozialen Belastungen gegenüber - ein
            Gemenge, welches immer zäher und gleichzeitig unüberschaubarer wird.

            Es gilt nun die Spannungsfelder zwischen dem Natürlichen und dem Künstlichen
            (Anthropozän), sowie im Gesellschaftlichen zu formulieren und im landschaftlichen
            Aussenraum unseres Geländes sichtbar zu machen. Welcher Bereich der Spannung
            behandelt wird und wie, steht dabei frei.

kontext

            Vom 25. - 27. Juni 2021 begleiten wir in Friedland das Fluid Festival mit einer konzep-
            tionellen Gruppenausstellung. Dabei treten wir vor Ort mit landschaftlichen Momenten
            in Dialog und ergänzen diesen per Kunst.

            Mit dieser öffentlichen Ausschreibung laden wir herzlich internationale Künster*innen
            ein, dieses Areal durch einen Beitrag zu ergänzen und zu erweitern. Im Folgenden wird
            der mögliche Aktionsraum vorgestellt, um ein möglichst räumliches Bild des Festival-
            geländes zu generieren. Die Arbeiten sollen sich thematisch im „Fluide Machen“ von
            Räumen und Konzepten, im Transformieren und neu Ausrichten einer Mensch - Natur
            Beziehung bewegen.

umsetzung

            Bei der Übersetzung dieses Themas ist auf das Berücksichtigen einer nachhaltigen
            Strategie im ökologischen Sinne zu achten. Sollten sich Arbeiten nicht innerhalb dieser
            Strategie bewegen, ist dies über den Inhalt und die damit verbundene Materialwahl für
            die Übersetzung zu begründen (Übersetzung des Themas ließ sich nicht anderweitig
            realisieren, wird dem Thema aber eindeutig gerecht).

            Disziplinen: Objekt, Skulptur, Installation, Foto, Malerei, Zeichnung, Druckgrafik, Video
            mit Angabe der Credits, Ton ist möglich. Ein performativer Beitrag wie Performance, VJ
            oder ähnliches zu Vernissage, Künstler*innengespräch oder Finissage ist erwünscht.

            Wir bieten Ausstellungsfläche mit logistischer Unterstützung, Materialkosten und Doku-
            mentation der Arbeiten.

            The fluid interaction of man, culture and nature, as well as the increasingly „non-fluid“
            relationship between them, move into the focus of artistic space-creating interven-
            tions. Where are the parallels, juxtapositions, and thresholds, where do their boundari-
            es dissolve, and how can it be pointed out?

            The world is facing growing challenges and seems to be out of balance in various
            places. In addition to ecological change such as the climate crisis, we are also facing
            political and social pressures - a mix that is becoming ever more viscous and at the
            same time unmanageable.

            The task now is to formulate the areas of tension between the natural and the artifici-
            al (Anthropocene), as well as in the social, and to make them visible in the landscape
            exterior of our site. Which area of tension will be treated and how is up to us.

context

            From June 25. - 27. 2021, we will accompany the Fluid Festival in Friedland with a con-
            ceptual group exhibition. We will enter into a dialogue with landscape moments on site
            and complement them with art.

            With this public call we cordially invite international artists* to complement and ex-
            pand this area with a contribution. In the following, the possible action space is pre-
            sented in order to generate as spatial an image of the festival area as possible. The
            works should move thematically in the „fluid making“ of spaces and concepts, in the
            transformation and realignment of a human - nature relationship.

implementation

            When translating this topic, attention must be paid to the consideration of a sustainable
            strategy in the ecological sense. Should work not be within this strategy, this is to be
            justified via the content and the associated choice of material for the translation (trans-
            lation of the topic could not be realized otherwise, but clearly does justice to the topic).

            Disciplines: object, sculpture, installation, photography, painting, drawing, printmaking,
            video with indication of credits, sound is possible. A performative contribution such as
            performance, VJ or similar to the vernissage, artist talk or finissage is desired.

            We offer exhibition space with logistical support, material costs and documentation of
            the work.
