DIE HERAUSFORDERUNG
durch technologische Innovation allein nicht machbar!
Die EU will bis 2050 klimaneutral sein.
Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, sind Maßnahmen in allen Sektoren erforderlich. z.B.:
• Dekarbonisierung des Energiesektors
(Die Erzeugung & Verbrauch von Energie machen mehr als 75 % der Treibhausgasemissionen der EU aus)
• Renovierung von Gebäuden, damit Energiekosten und -verbrauch gesenkt werden können
(40 % unseres Energieverbrauchs entfällt auf den Gebäudebestand)
• Unterstützung der Industrie bei Innovationen und der Übernahme einer weltweiten
Führungsrolle bei der grünen Wirtschaft
(Die europäische Industrie verwendet nur zu 12 % recycelte Materialien)
• Mobilität: Einführung umweltfreundlicherer, kostengünstigerer und gesünderer Formen des
privaten und öffentlichen Verkehrs
(Der Verkehr macht 25 % unserer Emissionen aus)

• Die Struktur des Green Deal Call (GDC) • Unterstützung in erster Linie (aber nicht
spiegelt die 8 Arbeitsbereiche des ausschließlich) von Innovations- und
European Green Deal (EGD) wider, Demonstrationsmaßnahmen
• wird ergänzt durch zwei horizontale • Forschungsmaßnahmen sowie
Bereiche (Stärkung des Wissens und Koordinierungs- und
Stärkung der Bürger*innen), Unterstützungsmaßnahmen sind ebenfalls

• Förderung größer Innovationen in wichtigen Gemeinschaftssystemen, die für den Aufbau von
Resilienz von zentraler Bedeutung sind, und als frühzeitiger Vermittler für die HEU Mission zur
Klimaanpassung dienen.
Wie?
• Ziel ist es, schnelle und weitreichende Veränderungen durch die Entwicklung
regionenspezifischer Portfolios von F & I-Lösungen zu ermöglichen, die für Demonstrationen
ausgereift sind, einschließlich naturbasierter Lösungen oder Verhaltensänderungen.
• Entwicklung effizienter Anpassungspfade, die auf die am stärksten gefährdeten Regionen und

ECONOMY
• LC-GD-3-2-2020: Demonstration of systemic solutions for the territorial deployment of the
circular economy IA, 60 M€ Total Budget, 10-20 M€/Proj.
Warum?
• Regionale Wirtschaften verfügen über eine geeignete Skala, um Ressourcenschleifen zu
schließen, nachhaltige zirkuläre Ökosysteme zu schaffen und partizipative
gemeinschaftsbasierte Innovationsprogramme zu entwerfen.
Was?
• Von jedem Vorschlag wird erwartet, dass er zirkuläre systemische Lösungen für den
territorialen Einsatz der Kreislaufwirtschaft (einschließlich der zirkulären Bioökonomie) in
einem „zirkulären territorialen Cluster“ umsetzt und demonstriert.
• Systemische Lösungen, die das Kreislaufwirtschaftskonzept über das Ressourcenmanagement
und die Verwertung im Abfall- und Wassersektor hinaus anwenden.

• Umwandlung von Minderungspfaden in klare Informationen darüber, wie sich die Auswirkungen
des Klimawandels entwickeln werden;

empowering citizens in innovative co-designed services and new project designs where
