Das Netzwerk der Great Wine Capitals (GWC) wurde 1999 in Bordeaux
gegründet. Zehn außergewöhnliche Weinregionen, die sich über die ganze
Welt verteilen, sind aktuell Mitglied. Seit seiner Gründung hat das Netzwerk
etliche innovative Programme – die meisten im Zusammenhang mit der
Förderung von Weintourismus – auf den Weg gebracht. So rief das Netzwerk
auch den „Best Of Wine Tourism“-Wettbewerb ins Leben, der die besten
Weintourismus-Angebote der Mitgliedsstädte und ihrer Regionen auswählt.
Die Broschüre, die Sie in Ihren Händen halten, nimmt Sie mit auf eine
Reise zu ausgezeichneten Weingütern und Veranstaltern in verschiedenen
Kategorien wie Gastronomie, Kunst und Kultur, Unterkunft und vielen
mehr! Gibt es eine schönere Art, die Welt zu bereisen?
Great Wine Capitals Global Network was founded in 1999 in Bordeaux.
It gathers 10 exceptional wine regions spread around the world. Since its
creation, several innovative programs - most of them related to the
promotion of wine tourism- have been launched. Thus, the Network
imagined and launched the «Best Of Wine Tourism» contest, which
selects the best wine tourism offers of the member regions. The brochure
between your hands will let you discover the awarded wineries and
tourism operators in different categories such gastronomy, art, culture,
accomodation... and many more. This certainly is one of the most beautiful
ways to travel the world, isn’t it?
