Die BIM World MUNICH 2018 ist vorüber und sie war ein voller Erfolg! Die BIM WORLD MUNICH implementierte für die Veranstaltung 2018 mit Ihrem strategischen Partner
dem Mittelstand 4.0 Kompetenzzentrum Planen und Bauen und zusätzlicher Unterstützung der Innovation World Cup® Series, einem weltweit führenden Open Innovation
Wettbewerb, erstmalig den BIM/SMART CONSTRUCTION AWARD. Das sogenannte Innovationsforum in der BIM TOWN-Area stellte eine Plattform für 24 Aussteller und 7
Innovation World Cup Contender dar, die den Besuchern der BIM WORLD MUNICH die neuesten Technologien und Innovationen der Bau-und Immobilienwirtschaft
präsentierten. Zusätzlich zu den Ausstellungsmöglichkeiten, hatten insgesamt 29 StartUp´s die Möglichkeit, auf der Innovation Stage die Jury (mit Live-Evaluierung!) durch
einen Pitch Ihr Produkt vorzustellen, um schlussendlich auf der Hauptbühne der Konferenz, die Jury final zu überzeugen und Gewinner des 1st BIM/SMART CONSTRUCTION
AWARD´s zu werden. VoxelGrid konnte sich der Bau-und Immobilienwirtschaft als die innovativste Unternehmung präsentieren und hate den 1st BIM/SMART
CONSTRUCTION AWARD für sich entscheiden.

Genau hier setzt die BIM World MUNICH mit ihrer BIM Town Ihr Konzept weiter fort: Ein Marktplatz für Produkte und Innovationen, die bereits in unterschiedlichen
Konstellationen erfolgreich eingesetzt werden und strategisch auf ein vernetztes Zusammenwirken im Sinne des Anwendernutzens setzen. Die BIM Town gibt
kollaborierenden Start-Up´s die Möglichkeit weiterhin Ihre Produkte und Lösungen auf Basis bereits etablierter Standards für den Datenaustausch und offener
Schnittstellen (APIs) zu präsentieren und geht einen Schritt weiter mit Start-Up´s die bereit sind für die Baubranche sich zu zusammen zutun und den führenden
Unternehmen eine All-In-One Lösung mit anderen Start-Up´s zu präsentieren.

Strategischer Partner der BIM Town ist weiterhin das Mittelstand 4.0 Kompetenzzentrum Planen und Bauen unter Federführung des Fraunhofer Instituts. Das Angebot an
Praxisbeispielen wird mit innovativen Projektpräsentationen und mit Einblicken in Forschung und Entwicklung abgerundet.

The BIM World MUNICH 2018 is over and it was a great success! BIM WORLD MUNICH and its strategic partner Mittelstand 4.0 Kompetenzzentrum Planen und Bauen
implemented the BIM / SMART CONSTRUCTION AWARD for the first tim which was powered by the Innovation World Cup® Series, a world-leading open innovation
competition. The so-called Innovation Forum in the BIM TOWN-Area provided a platform for 24 exhibitors and 7 Innovation World Cup Contenders to present the latest
technologies and innovations in the construction and real estate industry to the visitors of BIM WORLD MUNICH. In addition to the exhibitors, a total of 29 StartUp's had the
opportunity to pitch their product at the Innovation Stage which was live evaluated by leading experts of the construction and real estate industry. Finally convincing the jury
on the main stage of the conference and winners of the competition 1st BIM / SMART CONSTRUCTION AWARD's to become. VoxelGrid was able to present itself to the
construction and real estate industry as the most innovative company and won the 1st BIM / SMART CONSTRUCTION AWARD.

This is exactly where BIM World MUNICH continues its concept with its BIM Town: a marketplace for products and innovations that are already being used successfully in
various constellations and that are strategically based on a networked interaction in terms of user benefit. The BIM Town gives collaborative start-ups the opportunity to
continue to showcase their products and solutions based on established standards for data exchange and open interfaces (APIs) and goes one step further with start-ups and
innovators to present the leading companies an all-in-one solution with other start-up and innovators together.

The strategic partner of BIM Town continues to be the Mittelstand 4.0 Kompetenzzentrum Planen und Bauen under the leadership of the Fraunhofer Institute. The range of
practical examples will be rounded off with innovative project presentations and insights into research and development.
