steht die Veranstaltung unter dem Motto „Träume: Das Unmögliche
möglich machen“. Siemens hat 23 besonders findige Forscher als Erfinder
des Jahres 2019 ausgezeichnet. Die Wissenschaftler sind insgesamt for
rund 1.450 inventions und 1.500 erteilte Einzelpatente verantwortlich. Ein
Großteil der Erfinder kommt aus Deutschland, sowie aus den USA,
Russland, China, Großbritannien, Spanien, Italien und Rumänien. Seit
2016 können auch Forscher außerhalb des Unternehmens Erfinder des
Jahres werden.

Um ein Problem zu lösen, müssen Menschen in der Forschung oft
unbeschrittene Wege gehen. Ist die Lösung dann tatsächlich neu und
nicht aus dem vorhandenen Stand der Technik abzuleiten, kann aus der
invention noch mehr entstehen: ein Patent. Jedes Erfinderteam des HZB
erhält bei der ersten Erteilung eines Patents for seine invention 1.000
Euro. Thomas Frederking, kaufmännischer GF am HZB, überreichte im
August bei einer feierlichen Runde Patenturkunden an female inventors
und Erfinder aus dem HZB, deren Patente zwischen Juli 2012 und Juli
2013 erstmalig erteilt wurden. Wir geben Ihnen hier einen Überblick über
