Creative- und Christmasworld 2018 mit tollen Produkten. Papier- und Holzprodukte aus
nachhaltiger Waldwirtschaft mit dem FSC-Zeichen sind voll im Trend. Der FSC vereinfacht
dem Verbraucher, sich für Produkte aus nachhaltiger Waldwirtschaft zu entscheiden.
FSC-zertifizierte Produkte fördern verantwortungsvolle Waldwirtschaft, bei der Mensch
und Natur im Einklang sind und antworten auf die Nachhaltigkeitsanforderungen seitens
der Verbraucher.
Über 50% der Verbraucher in Deutschland erkennen das FSC-Zeichen (März 2016).
Führende Einzelhandelsketten und Büroausstatter erweitern laufend ihr FSC-
Produktsortiment. Auch Ihr Unternehmen kann dabei sein!
Diese Green Pages zeigen Ihnen, welche Aussteller auf der Creative-, Paper- und
Christmasworld 2018 über ein gültiges FSC-Zertifikat verfügen und FSC-zertifizierte
Produkte liefern können. Spannend: Fast 300 Aussteller bieten auf der Messe FSC-
zertifizierte Produkte an, letztes Jahr waren es 170. Weltweit sind heute knapp 200
Millionen Hektar Wald in 80 Ländern und mehr als 55.000 Betriebe in der Produktkette
zertifiziert. 600 Endkundenhändler nutzen weltweit die FSC-Warenzeichen in Milliarden-
Auflage und sorgen so für eine steigende Bekanntheit des FSC-Zeichens.

The New Year has just begun, and once again the international trade fair Paper-, Creative-
and Christmasworld is welcoming us with great products and innovations. Paper- and
wood products from responsible forestry with the FSC label are very trendy. The
certification system of FSC makes it easier for consumers to spot sustainable products at
first sight.
FSC certified products support responsible forestry in which man and nature exist in
harmony. Therefore, FSC is the answer to sustainability requests from consumers for
regrowing materials.
More than 50% of the consumers recognize the FSC trademark (March 2016). Leading
retail chains and office suppliers are continuously expanding their FSC product range.
Your company can be a part of this, too!
These Green Pages point out, which exhibitors at the Creative, Paper- and
Christmasworld 2018 hold a valid FSC certificate and are able to deliver FSC certified
products. Excitingly, you can find many FSC certified products at almost 300
exhibitors this year, 2017 there were 170 FSC certified companies! Worldwide almost
200 million hectares of forests in 80 countries are FSC certified and 55.000 companies in
the chain of custody are FSC certified. 600 retailers use the FSC trademarks in billions of
editions and doing so increases the awareness of FSC.

Audit of the forest operation
Independent certification bodies yearly verify that the forest operation adheres to and
implements the FSC certification requirements. Only responsibly managed forests, which
are FSC certified according to the environmental, economic and social standards, will
receive the FSC certificate.
Audit of manufacturers and retailers

the manufacturer or retailer. If this applies, the company achieves the FSC certificate. Only

Überprüfung der Kennzeichnung
Die zugelassenen Zertifizierungsstellen geben die ordnungsgemäße Verwendung des
FSC-Logos mit Angabe der Lizenznummer auf Produkten frei. Zusätzlich wird
sichergestellt, dass die jeweilige FSC-Kennzeichnung, die aus dem Rohstoffeinsatz
hervorgeht, auf dem Produkt verwendet wird.
Überprüfung der Werbung mit dem FSC-Zeichen
In Werbematerialien wie Katalogen oder auf Webseiten dürfen Verarbeiter und Händler mit
einer eigenen Nummer für FSC-zertifizierte Produkte werben.
FSC 100%: Das Holz dieses Produktes stammt
ausschließlich aus FSC-zertifiziertem Wald.
Dieses Holz muss von nicht-zertifiziertem Holz
stets getrennt gelagert, gehandelt und verarbeitet
werden.
Eine Vermischung darf nicht stattfinden.
FSC RECYCLED: Für dieses Produkt wurde
ausschließlich Gebrauchtholz oder Altpapier
verwendet. Kennzeichnungsrechte entstehen
durch „Post-consumer“-Material - beispielsweise
ein Holz aus Sperrmüll. Bei Papier wird auch
Industrieabfall aus der Weiterverarbeitung
anerkannt.
FSC MIX: Bei der Produktion wurde Holz aus
FSC-zertifizierten Wäldern, kontrollierten Quellen
und Recyclingmaterial verwendet. Bei Holz wird
FSC-zertifiziertes Material oder Post-Consumer-
Recycling entweder zu mindestens 70%
eingesetzt, bei Papier auch Pre-Consumer-
Recycling, oder es wird eine mindestens
äquivalente Menge im Prozess verwendet, um
die gekennzeichneten Waren herzustellen.

Monitoring of the labeling
The accredited certification bodies monitor and approve the correct use of the FSC labels
with the license code on products. Products are only labeled when reaching the
requirements in relation to the input of raw materials coming from well- managed forests,
controlled sources or recycling.
Monitoring of advertising with the FSC label
In advertising material such as catalogues or websites, manufacturers and retailers are
only allowed to advertise using their own license number.
FSC 100%: This product contains 100% material
from FSC certified forests. The wood has to be
strictly separated from non-certified material in
storage, processing and trade. No mixing is
allowed.
FSC RECYCLED: This product only contains
recycled fibers. Claim contributing material must
have served its purpose for which is was produced,
for example timber from demolition debris. In case
of paper industrial waste of secondary processing
is also recognized.
FSC MIX: To manufacture this product, timber from
well-managed FSC certified forests, controlled wood
avoiding unacceptable practices as well as
reclaimed material has been used. In the production
of timber products the input of FSC certified or post-
consumer reclaimed material or a combination of
both was at least 70%, in the case of paper pre-
consumer reclaimed material is also accepted, or an
equivalent input amount was purchased to produce
this labelled product.
