das Jahr hat gerade angefangen und schon begrüßt uns die Dreifach-Messe Paper-,
Creative- und Christmasworld 2020 mit tollen Produkten. Mittlerweile ist klar, dass die
Verwendung von Plastik problematisch ist, daher stellen Papier- und Holzprodukte aus
nachhaltiger Waldwirtschaft mit dem FSC-Zeichen eine gute Alternative dar. Der FSC hilft
dem Verbraucher, sich für Produkte aus nachhaltiger Waldwirtschaft zu entscheiden.
FSC-zertifizierte Produkte fördern verantwortungsvolle Waldwirtschaft, bei der Mensch und
Natur im Einklang sind und erfüllen die Nachhaltigkeitsanforderungen des bewussten
Konsumenten.
Über 50% der Verbraucher in Deutschland erkennen das FSC-Zeichen (März 2019), was
noch von besseren Werten in Dänemark, Niederlande, Schweiz und England übertroffen
wird. Führende Einzelhandelsketten und Büroausstatter erweitern laufend ihr FSC-
Produktsortiment. Auch Ihr Unternehmen kann dabei sein!
Diese Green Pages zeigen Ihnen, welche Aussteller auf den 3 verschiedenen Fachmessen
dieses Jahr über ein gültiges FSC-Zertifikat verfügen und FSC-zertifizierte Produkte liefern
können. Spannend: Knapp 400 FSC-zertifizierte Aussteller finden Sie auf dem
Messegelände. Weltweit sind heute rund 200 Millionen Hektar Wald in insgesamt 85
Ländern und mehr als 67.000 Betriebe in der Produktkette zertifiziert. Über 1000
Endkundenhändler nutzen weltweit die FSC-Warenzeichen in Milliarden-Auflage und
sorgen so für eine steigende Bekanntheit des FSC-Zeichens.

The New Year has just begun, and once again the international trade fair Paper-, Creative-
and Christmasworld 2020 is welcoming us with great products and innovations. It is known,
that the usage of plastic is problematic, therefore moving towards paper and wood products
from sustainable forestry with the FSC label is a viable alternative. The FSC certification
system helps consumers to spot sustainable products at first sight.
FSC certified products support responsible forestry in which man and nature exist in
harmony. Therefore, FSC is the answer to sustainability requests from consumers for
sustainable options.
More than 50% of the consumers recognize the FSC trademark in Germany (March 2019)
topped even by other countries like Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands or UK. Leading retail
chains and office suppliers are continuously expanding their FSC product range. Your
company can be a part of this, too!
These Green Pages point out, which exhibitors hold a valid FSC certificate at the 3 different
trade fairs this year and are able to deliver FSC certified products. Excitingly, nearly 400
FSC-certified exhibitors are present. Worldwide about 200 million hectares of forests in a
total of 85 countries are FSC-certified and 67.000 companies in the supply chain are FSC-
certified. 1000 retailers use the FSC trademarks in billions of editions and continue to
increase the awareness of FSC.

How do you recognize an FSC product?
Certified products must have a product label, as shown below. These ensure that the
products come from ecologically adapted, socially beneficial and economically viable
forestry.
FSC 100%: This product contains 100% material
from FSC-certified forests. The wood has to be
strictly separated from non-certified material in
storage, processing and trade. No mixing is allowed.
FSC RECYCLED: This product only contains
recycled fibers. Claim contributing material must
have served its purpose for which is was produced,
for example timber from demolition debris. In case
of paper industrial waste of secondary processing is
also recognized.
FSC MIX: To manufacture this product, timber from
well-managed FSC-certified forests, Controlled
Wood avoiding unacceptable practices as well as
reclaimed material has been used. In the production
of timber products, the input of FSC-certified or post-
consumer reclaimed material or a combination of
both adds up to 70%. In the case of paper pre-
consumer reclaimed material is also accepted, or an
equivalent input amount was purchased to produce
this labelled product.
