PORTFOLIO DER AKTIVITÄTEN 2019 - 2018 (Auswahl) / CURATED PROGRAMMES ¡N[S]URGÊNC!AS 2019 - “PROTESTÖKOLOGIE” KUNSTLER-IM-FOKUS: GABRIEL VALLECILLO (HONDURAS/KARIBIK) _ Künstlerische Leiterin & Kuratorin: Paz Ponce (Agora Collective e.V.) _ Gefördert im Rahmen des Fellowship-Programm “Weltoffenes Berlin” 2019 durch die Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa _ März - November 2019, veranstalten von ZK/U Berlin (Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik) ¡n[s]urgênc!as Künslter-in-Fokus hat eine Dauer von 9 Monaten und ist als ein hybrides Studio-Praxis- und Diskursives-Programm strukturiert. Das Programm hat das Ziel ihn zu einem neunmonatigen Aufenthalt bei ZK / U in Berlin einzuladen. AGORA wird seine Arbeit "Der Fluss hat es mir gesagt" gemeinsam produzieren, eine Hommage an den ermordeten indigenen Rechteaktivisten Berta Cáceres. Die Arbeit, eine Multimedia-Projektion für den öffentlichen Raum, wurde in Honduras zensiert. “In our cosmovisions we are beings that have surged from the earth, water and maize. Happening bei eingeladene latinamerikanischer Künstlergruppe: Kap Hoorn ¡n[s]urgênc!as ist eine professionelle Netzwerkveranstaltung und Orientierungsprogramm zwischen 12 lateinamerikanischen Künstlern und 12 Vertretern der Berliner Kunstszene. Es zielt auf Newcomers in Berlin ab, die aus einem politisch unruhigen Umfeld stammen. Das Programm soll Künstler unterstützen, die aufgrund ihrer kritischen künstlerischen Praxis ihre Karriere in ihrem Heimatland nicht fortsetzen können. Das Programm ist als eine Reihe von Begegnungen mit Experten konzipiert, die die Teilnehmer in das professionelle Netzwerk Berlins integrieren und ihnen helfen, ihren künstlerischen Ausdruck im kreativen Kontext Deutschlands zu positionieren. WWW.AGORACOLLECTIVE.ORG/AFFECT AFFECT 2018 is conceived as a research type of residency, under the theme: “Micro-Utopias: Cartographies of Relational Art in Berlin”. Content wise the modules renew the question about the social function of art, offered as case studies to support residents contextualizing the program’s main question in Berlin, triggering autonomous research strands at AFFECT based on the insights gained through the exchange of practices during their stay. Babes Bar, September 2017 - ongoing Babes Bar by Agora Collective performing at Martin Groupius Bau during the opening of Immersion in July 2017. Running since September 2017 at Agora, Babes Bar has been hosted by: John Holten Stephanie Comilang Marlene Stark Eilis McDonald Natasja Loutchko & Max Göran T-Word Enad Marouf & Billy Bultheel Elif Saydam & Alex Turgeon For every new event, a short announcement viedeo is posted at Babes instagram page. Babes Bar is a regular artist-run bar that happens once a month at Agora. Artists are invited to host an evening with performances, readings and screenings. Babes Bar was initiated by Caique Tizzi with Adam Fearon, John Holten and Rafaela Vogel during the Augury Program at BQ. 21

Cibelle Cavalli Bastos, Installation view at Import Projects – Dec. 2017 _ I am Hungry, 2017 I am Hungry is Agora Collective´s platform dedicated to researching and experimenting with new ways of developing and presenting artistic practices and collaborations. I am Hungry caters to art practices that play with the inbetweenness of fields, diversifying from the traditional channels of exhibition and presentation. I am Hungry’s programme is based on short-duration residencies and a course of artistic events. I am Hungry create immersive environments, directed-experiences, and occasions for collective encounters as a tool to unite people and their practices. In 2017, invited the artists Dafna Maimon and Cibelle Cavalli Bastos to contribute to I am Hungry – the series of performances and exhibitions were developed in cooperation with Import Projects and KW Institut for Contemporary Art. 23 http://www.iamhungry.online

_ Everything Under the Sun Hanne Lippard; In Your Mind, Out of your body experience – Agora, Nov. 2015 EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN is a project that consists of a series of artistic events and an educational programme that approaches the current issues related to climate change, rejecting alarmism and mirroring all aspects of it on the Earth's landscape. For its artistic series, Agora invited artists Dafna Maimon (FI), Egill Saebjörnsson (IS), Hanne Lippard (NO), Natasja Loutchko (SE) and experts on permaculture and waste management Leonie Woidt- Wallisser (AU) and Alice Grindhammer (DE) to tackle the issue in a participatory, humorous and informative way. For its educational programme, Agora invited the artist Tue Greenfort (DK), Kultivator (SE), the food specialists Roderick Sloan (NO) and Thomas Harttung (DK). http://everythingunderthesun.agoracollective.org/ 26
_ AFFECT AFFECT is Agora’s program for collaborative artistic practices in Berlin, currently in ist 4th edition in 2018. Resembling an immersive academy, AFFECT programme offers a diverse curriculum of workshops growing out of the research and practice of the Berlin-based facilitating artists, curators who focus their work in collaborative, participatory, relational and social engaged art practice. Practioners who we have collaborated with: Eric Ellingsen, Fotini Lazaridou Hatzigoga, Stine Marie Jacobsen, Conglomerate (Dafna Maimon, Sol Calero, Christopher Kline, Derek Howard, Ethan Hayes-Chute), Lorenzo Sandoval, among others. Installation view of MOVE Live Event Dec.2016 _ Agora MOVE Agora MOVE is Agora’s platform dedicated to the study, practice and production of dance and performance art in Berlin and explores the intersection of body-based practice with other artistic disciplines present in the Agora Collective facilities. It intends to fulfill the demand of a dance house in the district of Neukölln, offering the neighbourhood and its dance community a place to research, exercise and create body-related and choreographic practices.
