auf dem Internationalen Campus!
Zur Internationalen Woche 2018 vom 11. bis 15. Juni
werden 30 internationale Lehrende an die Universität
Vechta kommen und die Lehrveranstaltungen mit ihren
internationalen Perspektiven auf Forschung und Lehre
bereichern. Die Besonderheit: Die Lehrveranstaltungen
der internationalen Gäste finden im Rahmen der Lehr-
veranstaltungen ihrer Vechtaer Fachkolleg_innen statt,
werden in deutscher oder englischer Sprache gehal-
ten und sind für Interessierte geöffnet. Ein vielfältiges
Rahmenprogramm mit Exkursionen und interkulturellen
Trainings rundet die Internationale Woche ab.
Die Internationale Woche wird am Montag, 11. Juni um
18 Uhr in der kleinen Aula durch die Vizepräsidentin für
Lehre und Studium, Professorin Dr. Martina Döhrmann
eröffnet.

Welcome
to the International Campus!
The International Week 2018 from 11th to 15th of June
2018 will be visited by 30 international teachers, who will
come to the University of Vechta and enrich the lectures with
their international perspectives on research and teaching.
The peculiarity of the international week is that the inter-
national guests’ lectures take place within the scope of
lectures of their Vechtaer colleagues, the lessons are held in
either German or English and are opened to interested
visitors. An extensive accompanying program is also part
of the event and completes the whole international week.
The university’s vice president for Teaching and
Studying, Prof. Dr. Martina Döhrmann, will officially open
the Internati-onal Week on Monday, 11th of June 2018 at
18:00 in the small auditorium.

Prof. Dr. Denise Gigante
Prof. Dr. Denise Gigante from the University of Stan-
ford (USA) teaches eighteenth and nineteenth-century
British literature with a focus on Romanticism.
Her interests include the longer historical tradition of
poetry and poetics, the English periodical essay, the
Romantic novel, taste, gastronomy, aesthetic theory,
antiquarianism, and the history of the book.

Prof. Carsten Levisen
Dr. Carsten Levisen is a Danish linguist. He is an asso-
ciate professor at Roskilde University, Denmark and a
member of the Young Academy under the Royal Danish
Academy of Sciences and Letters.
His research interests include lexical semantics, the
language-culture nexus, and the creolization of langu-
ages and cultures.

Dr. Dominic Watt
Dr. Dominic Watt is Senior Lecturer in Forensic Speech
Science at the University of York (UK). He has research
interests in forensic and legal linguistics, forensic
phonetics, sociophonetics, speech perception, langu-
age and identity studies, and dialectology.

Dr. Sarah Fefer
Dr. Fefer works within the department of Student De-
velopment in the College of Education at the Univer-
sity of Massachusetts Amherst (USA) where her clini-
cal and research interests revolve around supporting
students with challenging behavior across home and
school contexts using a Positive Behavior Intervention
and Support (PBIS) framework.

Dr. Xuping Ye
Dr. Ye Xuping ist Professorin an der Anhui Normal
University in Wuhu, China. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte
sind Übersetzungsforschung, Allgemeine Didaktik und
Vergleichende Erziehungswissenschaft.
Sie arbeitete als Vizedirektorin am Wanjing College der
Anhui Normal University. Zurzeit hat sie eine leitende
Funktion beim Aufbau eines Masterstudiengangs für
Vergleichende Erziehungswissenschaft an der Anhui
Normal University.

Yu Bai
Yu Bai started working as a counselor and lecturer at
Huaibei Normal University , China in 2014. Her research
interests are school counseling, academic difficulties,
social support, developmental psychology, cognitive
control, brain mechanisms of emotion and language.

Dr. Sofia Savelava
Dr. Sofia Savelava is Head of Education for Sustainable
Development Coordination Center of BSPU the
Maxim-Tank-Universität. Dr. Sofia Savelava is the
affiliate of Earth Charter at the Maxim-Tank-University
in Minsk, Belarus Initiative in Belarus, a member of the
Coordinating Council of the Partnership Network of
Sustainable Development Schools and expert of the
Education for Sustainable Development Association.

Dr. Augustin Kenné
Dr. Augustin Kenné ist Dozent für Germanistische Lin-
guistik an der Universität Dschang, Kamerun. Er macht
verschiedene Lehraufträge an den Universitäten
Douala und Yaoundé. Forschungs- und Lehrschwer-
punkte sind: Didaktik DaT/DaF, Interkulturelles Spra-
chenlehren und –lernen, Verbindung von Sprachdidak-
tik und Linguistik, Textproduktion und Textrezeption,
vergleichende Sprachwissenschaft, Lehrwerkanalyse.

Dr. Tatiana Guseva
Dr. Tatiana Guseva lehrt und forscht an der Staatlichen
Universität Pensa, Russland der Fakultät für
Geschichte. Fremdsprachen und Literatur am Lehrstuhl
für Übersetzung und Übersetzungswissenschaft.
Sie beschäftigt sich mit den sprachwissenschaftlichen
Themen der deutschen Gegenwartsprache
(Lexikologie, kontrastive Linguistik, Übersetzen,
Stilistik, Phonologie, Phonostilistik) sowie DaF.

Prof. Dr. Anna Sandberg
Dr. Anna Sandberg ist Associate Professorin für Ger-
manistik an der Universität Kopenhagen, Dänemark.
Ihre Forschungs- und Lehrschwerpunkte sind:
Deutsche Literatur und deutsch-skandinavische
Kulturbeziehungen 1750- Gegenwart, Migrations-
literatur, Ökokritik und europäische Romantik.

Gerontologie
Dr. Wouter De Tavernier
Dr. Wouter De Tavernier is a postdoctoral researcher
at the Centre for Comparative Welfare Studies, Aal-
borg University (Denmark), and holds a Ph.D. from the
same institution. His research interests are mainly
concerned with aspects of social protection of older
individuals.18
One strand of research focuses on issues of the late
career, the retirement transition and pension income.
Another strand centres around eldercare, particularly
in immigrant communities.

Prof. Dr. Monique Lanoix
Prof. Dr. Monique Lanoix is associate professor of phi-
losophy at St. Paul University in Ottawa, Canada in the
Centre for Research in Public Ethics and Governance
where she teaches courses in feminist ethics,
bioethics and environmental ethics.
Her research examines ancillary care and the manner
in which it is structures and funded. One aspect of her
study focuses on care as a right of social citizenship.

Dr. Giovanni Lamura
Giovanni Lamura leitet das Zentrum für Sozio-Öko-
nomische Alternsforschung bei INRCA (dem Bundes-
institut für Gesundheits- und Altenpflege), in Ancona,
Italien, wo er seit 1992 tätig ist. Nach einem Studium
in Wirtschaftswissenschaften promovierte er an der
Universität Bremen beim Graduiertenkolleg „Lebens-
lauf und Sozialpolitik”. Seine Schwerpunkte
fokussieren sich auf komparative internationale For-
schungsprojekte über folgenden Themen:
Unterstützung von pflegenden Familienangehörigen,
Langzeitpflege, ambulante Pflege durch migrantische
Pflegekräfte, Prävention des Missbrauchs älterer
Menschen, intergenerationelle Solidarität und inter-
disziplinäre Alternsforschung.

Geschichte
Prof. Dr. Dániel Bagi
Prof. Dr. Dániel Bagi ist Professor für mittelalterliche
Geschichte an der Universität Pecs, Ungarn. Seine
Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Geschichte Ostmit-
teleuropas im Mittelalter sowie Geschichtsschreibung
und ihre Narrative. Mehrere Forschungsaufenthalte
haben ihn bereits nach Polen und Deutschland geführt.

Dr. David El Kenz
Dr. David El Kenz is Assistant professor for early mo-
dern history of the University of Burgondy , France. He
is a specialist in religious disorders in Europe of the
sixteenth century and of the historiography of extre-
me violence.

Katholische Theologie
Prof. Dr. Cheng Liu
Prof. Dr. Cheng Liu ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Welt-
geschichte mit Fokus auf Britische Geschichte an der
Nanjing University in Nanjing, China.
Er ist an derselben Universität Direktor des Instituts
für Friedensforschung und Inhaber des UNESCO-Lehr-
stuhls für Friedenswissenschaft. Er ist Begründer der
Friedenswissenschaft in der Volksrepublik China und
weltweit vernetzt in der universitären Friedensfor-
schung, neben US-amerikanischen Universitäten in
besonderer Weise mit der Universität von Coventry,
UK.

Prof. Dr. Gustavo Leyva Martínez promovierte an der
Philosophischen Fakultät der Eberhard-Karls-Univer-
sität Tübingen.
Seit 1989 ist er Professor in Mexico City an der Philo-
sophie-Abteilung der Universidad Autónoma Metropo-
litana , Mexico.

Dr. Anastasía Antonopoúlou ist Professorin für
Deut-sche Literatur des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts

Athen, Griechenland. Weitere Forschungsgebiete sind
Gender Studies und die Übersetzung literarischer Texte.

Manuel Hoffmann
Manuel Hoffmann untersucht im Rahmen seiner
PhD-Studies an der Texas A&M University (USA), wie
mit Hilfe verhaltensökonomischer Ansätze die Ge-
sundheit der Menschen verbessert werden kann. Eine
seiner aktuellen Studien in einem Finanzunternehmen
in Ecuador untersucht die Gründe für eine unzurei-
chende Impfbereitschaft. In einer anderen Studie
analysiert er den Nutzen von Privatkrankenversich-
erungen in Australien für die Versicherten und den
Staat.

Dr. Jens Mohrenweiser is Principal Lecturer for Organi-
sational Behaviour and Human Resource Management
at Bournemouth University , UK.
His research interests are in company-sponsored trai-

of their employees and in employee voice particularly
why employees raise their voice and why they remain
silent.

Dr. Eeva Mäkinen
Dr. Eeva Mäkinen is a multiply skilled artist who gra-
duated originally as a church musician and as a pia-
no teacher. Since then she has concentrated on the
development of culture-oriented wellbeing services.
Currently Dr. Eeva Mäkinen is working as the Director
of Development for the Well-being Power Plant of
Eastern Finland.

Mag. Dr. Bernhard Gritsch ist ein außerordentlicher
Universitätsprofessor für Musikpädagogik, Studien-

mentalmusikerziehung) und Leiter des interuniversi-
tären Universitätslehrgangs „Musiktherapie“ an der

Philosophie
Prof. Dr. C. Edward Emmer
Prof. C. E. Emmer earned a PhD in philosophy at Stony
Brook University (New York), USA after extensive stu-
dies in Germany as a fellow of the Collegium Philosoph-
iae Transatlanticum.
His research concentrates on aesthetics, particularly
“kitsch” and Immanuel Kant’s theories of the beautiful,
the sublime, and art. He currently teaches at Emporia
State University in Kansas (USA), where his favorite
courses are aesthetics and “Slavery, Revolution, and
God” (nineteenth-century philosophy).

Sie kommt von dem E.L. Schiffers-Institut der überho-
lenden Forschungen aus Moskau , Russland.

Bildungsphilosophie, Innovationsmethoden im Bil-
dungsbereich und die Entwicklung der Fichtes Wissen-
schaftslehre der Gegenwart.

Prof. Dr. Meung-Hoan Noh machte sein Magister an der
Uni Münster (Neuere Geschichte), Korea.
Seit 1991 ist er Professor der Hankuk University of
Foreign Studies (Neuere Geschichte). Er lehrt die Ge-
schichte der Europäischen Union und die Geschichte
des Kalten Krieges in Deutschland und Korea.

enbildung verantwortlich. Seine Forschungsschwer-

Dr. Walentina Uschakowa ist Dozentin an der Universi-
tät St. Petersburg, Russland.

ziologie“ auf der internationalen Bildungs-Plattform
