Protest at VOLKSWAGEN
Presentation of the International ethecon Black Planet Award 2018 to the vilified top
managers and major shareholders at the VOLKSWAGEN AGM
Protest rally with international speakers outside and inside the VOLKSWAGEN AGM in
Berlin, CityCube, Messedamm 22, 14th May 2019 from 9am. As part of the protest the
International ethecon Black Planet Award 2018 will be presented to the vilified top manages
Herbert Diess and Hans Dieter Pötsch as well as VOLKSWAGEN’s major shareholders
Wolfgang Porsche (PORSCHE HOLDING SE) and Stephan Weil (Minister President of
Lower Saxony). The negative prize for corporate crimes is awarded annually by ethecon
Foundation Ethics & Economics and the Association of Ethical Shareholders. They are
voicing their criticism as shareholders at the AGM. The dossier on the presentation of the

    On the occasion of the presentation of the International ethecon Black Planet Award
2018 to the vilified top manages Herbert Diess (CEO) and Hans Dieter Pötsch (Chairman of
Supervisory Board) as well as VOLKSWAGEN’s major shareholders Wolfgang Porsche
(PORSCHE HOLDING SE) and Stephan Weil (Minister President of Lower Saxony) ethecon
Foundation Ethics & Economics and the Association of Ethical Shareholders are calling for a
protest rally. The negative prize will be presented during the AGM of the world’s biggest car
company at Berliner CityCube, Messedamm 26, on 14th May 2019.
    In November 2018 ethecon Foundation Ethics & Economics and the Association of
Ethical Shareholders together awarded the International ethecon Black Planet Award to the
Chief Executives and major shareholders of the VOLKSWAGEN corporation for sabotaging
climate protection, dispossessing thousands of customers and supporting fascist and anti-
union governments.
     Axel Köhler-Schnura, chairman of the foundation ethecon said: “VOLKSWAGEN is
responsible for the ruin of human health and the large scale destruction of the environment
as well as poverty and misery and the death of a huge number of people. The corporation’s
executives not only present a danger for peace and human rights, but also for democracy,
ecology and the whole of humanity. All of this is done in the name of private and corporate
profits.”

Protest bei VOLKSWAGEN
Übergabe des Internationalen ethecon Black Planet Award 2018 an die geschmähten
Manager und Großaktionäre im Rahmen der Hauptversammlung von VOLKSWAGEN
Protestkundgebung mit internationalen Redner*innen vor und in der Hauptversammlung des
VOLKSWAGEN-Konzerns in Berlin, CityCube, Messedamm 22, 14. Mai 2019, ab 9 Uhr. Im
Rahmen der Aktionen wird u.a. der Internationale ethecon Black Planet Award 2018 den
geschmähten Managern Herbert Diess und Hans Dieter Pötsch sowie den Großaktionären
Wolfgang Porsche (PORSCHE HOLDING SE) und Stephan Weil (Ministerpräsident
Niedersachsen) von VOLKSWAGEN überbracht. Der Schmähpreis für Konzernverbrechen
wird jährlich von ethecon Stiftung Ethik & Ökonomie und dem Dachverband der kritischen
Aktionär*innen vergeben. Diese wollen ihre Kritik auch als Aktionäre in der

     Anlässlich der Übergabe des Internationalen ethecon Black Planet Award 2018 an
die geschmähten Manager Herbert Diess (Vorstand) und Hans Dieter Pötsch
(Aufsichtsrat) sowie die Großaktionäre Wolfgang Porsche (PORSCHE HOLDING SE)
und Stephan Weil (Ministerpräsident Niedersachsen) von VOLKSWAGEN rufen ethecon
Stiftung Ethik & Ökonomie und der Dachverband der kritischen Aktionär*innen und die
Berliner Gruppe „Gegenstrom“ zu einer Protestkundgebung auf. Der Schmähpreis wird
anlässlich der Hauptversammlung des weltgrößten Automobilkonzerns im Berliner
CityCube, Messedamm 26, am 14. Mai 2019 übergeben.

    ethecon Stiftung Ethik & Ökonomie und der Dachverband der kritischen Aktionär*innen
haben im Rahmen einer großen Veranstaltung im November 2018 den Vorständen und
Großaktionären des VOLKSWAGEN-Konzerns für die Sabotage des Klimaschutzes, die
Enteignung tausender Kund*innen und die Unterstützung faschistischer und
gewerkschaftsfeindlicher Regierungen gemeinsam den Internationalen ethecon Black Planet
Award verliehen.

Entrega del premio internacional ethecon Black Planet Award 2018 a los gerentes y
accionistas mayoritarios puestos en la picota dentro de la asamblea general de
VOLKSWAGEN
manifestación de protesta con oradores internacionales antes y durante la asamblea general
del consorcio de VOLSKWAGEN en Berlín, City Cube, Messedamm 22, 14 de mayo del
2019 a partir de las 9 horas a.m. Dentro de las acciones se otorgará el premio internacional
ethecon Black Planet Award 2018 a los injuriados gerentes Herbert Diess y Hans Dieter

les managers de VOLKSWAGEN recevront le prix du déshonneur
Protestation dans VOLKSWAGEN
Dans le cadre de l’Assemblée générale de VOLKSWAGEN, les managers et grands
actionnaires de la firme recevront le Black Planet Award 2018 d’ethecon.
Une manifestation à laquelle participeront des orateurs et oratrices internationaux se
déroulera devant et à l’intérieur de l’Assemblée générale de VOLKSWAGEN à Berlin,
CityCube, Messedamm 22, le 14 mai 2019, à partir de 9 heures. Dans le cadre de cette
action ce prix du déshonneur sera remis aux managers Herbert Diess et Hans Dieter Pötsch
ainsi qu’aux grands actionnaires de VOLKSWAGEN Wolfgang Porsche (PORSCHE
HOLDING SE) et Stephan Weil (Ministre-Président de Basse-Saxe). La fondation ethecon
« Pour l’éthique en économie» ainsi que la Fédération des actionnaires critiques stigmatisent
chaque année les crimes d’une firme par ce prix du déshonneur. Les seconds en profiteront
pour exprimer leur critiques au cours de l’Assemblée générale.
