1 Warnemünder Vogtei
Warnemünde Vogtei
Ältestes Gebäude in Warnemünde. Sie war u.a. ein könig-
lich-dänischer Palast (1250), eine fürstliche Vogtei und Sitz
des städtischen Vogtes. Heute Sitz der Tourismuszentrale.
Oldest building in Warnemünde. It was among others a Ro-
yal Danish Palace (1250), a royal bailiwick and seat of the
municipal bailiff. Today it is the office of the Tourist Board.

2 Munch Haus
Munch house
Das Haus „Am Strom 53“ beherbergte 1907/08 den norwegi-
schen Maler Edvard Munch. Als kulturelle Begegnungsstätte
zeigt es heute wechselnde Ausstellungen moderner Kunst.

Street „Alexandrinenstraße“
Auf Plattdeutsch „Achterreeg“ (= hintere Reihe) genannt.
Fischer, Seeleute und Lotsen lebten in den Häusern. Über die
„Querstraßen I–V“ gelangt man zur Vörreeg „Am Strom“.
Called „Achterreeg“ (= back row) in Low German. Fisher-

Fountain of procession
Brunnen zum traditionellen Warnemünder Umgang (Platt-
deutsch: „Warnminner Ümgang“). Enthüllt 2004 vom Bildhau-
er Wolfgang Friedrich. Wasserspiel mit 19 Bronzefiguren.

5 Alter Strom
“Alter Strom”
Auf Plattdeutsch „Vörreeg“ (= vordere Reihe) genannt. Bunte
Flaniermeile mit Kapitäns- und Fischerhäusern, Cafés, Knei-
pen und Boutiquen. Hier starten Hafenrundfahrten.
Called “Vörreeg” (= frontrow) in Low German. Colourful pro-
menade with captain’s and fishermen’s houses, cafés, pubs
and boutiques. Harbour tours start here.
6 Westmole
West pier
Am Fuße der alten Lotsenstation führt die Westmole über 500
Meter hinaus auf die Ostsee. Schutz für die Hafeneinfahrt.

7 Leuchtturm & Teepott
Lighthouse & teapot
Leuchtturm: 31 Meter hoch, aus weiß glasierten Ziegelsteinen
(1897/98). Von Ostern bis Herbst begehbar. Teepott: runder
Bau mit eigenwilliger Dachkonstruktion (1968).

10 Holländerwindmühle
Dutchman windmill
Erbaut 1866 als Galerie Holländerwindmühle. Bis 1991 wurde
Korn gemahlen. Sie wurde später zum Wohnhaus umgebaut.

tial building.
11 Evangelische Kirche Warnemünde
Protestant Church Warnemünde
Neogotische Kirche im Zentrum des Seebades. Erbaut 1866–
1872. Kostbare Ausstattung: Schnitzaltar, Renaissance-Kanzel
und Statue des Heiligen Christophorus.
