macher seinen ersten F1-Weltmeistertitel, es befindet sich im Besitz der Mo-
torworld Group. „Es gab nicht den Hauch eines Zweifels für mich, dass ich das
machen wollte“, so der Formel-3-Fahrer des Prema-Teams.

Die Motorworld Classics holt das Motorrad raus aus dem
Schatten des Automobils, hinein ins Rampenlicht.
Die Geschichte des Motorrads ist so alt wie die des Automo-
bils – und genauso wechselvoll, dramatisch, spannend. Denn
seit mehr als 120 Jahren jagen wilde Kerle und auch so manch
mutige Dame auf zwei motorisierten Rädern durch die Stadt,
über Waldwege oder den Rundkurs. Rocker, Racer, Mods, Welt-
reisende oder Hipster schätzen die motorisierten Zweiräder bis
heute als überaus emotionales Vehikel. So wurde das Aufdrehen
des Gasgriffs zum Markenzeichen eines Zeitgeistes. Und das

Concorso Competizione Sportivo
Der Concorso Competizione Sportivo ging erstmals an den Start und widmete sich aus-
schließlich Fahrzeugen mit echter Rennhistorie. Und die war auch beim Anblick der au-
tomobilen Legenden spür- und sichtbar. 23 Fahrzeuge stellten sich der Bewertung sei-
tens der hochkarätig besetzten Jury: Kay Oldtimerexperte MacKenneth (Jury-Vorsitz),
Mario De Rosa, Vorsitzender der Initiative Kulturgut Mobilität, Fachbuchautor Jürgen
Lewandowski und Bentley Chef-Designer Stefan Sielaff. Mit kritischem Blick und Exper-
tise beurteilten sie die automobilen Schätze, die sehr eindrucksvoll Rennhistorie von den
1930ern bis in die 1990er Jahre wiederspiegelten.

the 1st Concorso Competizione Sportivo, visitors to Warm-Up 4 had the opportunity
to inform themselves about both the past and the future of the listed site. The fine
summer weather attracted thousands of enthusiasts‘ vehicles and curious visitors to
the Freimann district of Munich.

The start signal was given for the very first Concorso Competizione Sportivo, a com-
petition devoted exclusively to vehicles with a true racing history. And that was plainly
evident on seeing the automotive legends. 23 vehicles presented themselves to be
judged by the high-calibre jury: classic car expert Kay MacKenneth (who chaired the
jury), Mario De Rosa, chairman of the initiative Kulturgut Mobilität, book author Jür-
gen Lewandowski, and Stefan Sielaff, chief designer at Bentley. With their critical eyes
and expertise, they appraised the motoring gems, which impressively embodied racing
history from the 1930s to the 1990s.

Bei herrlichem Sommerwetter fand am 26. August an
der Motorworld München das Sommerfest des Corvet-
te Clubs Bayern e.V. statt. Rund 700 Corvette Fahrer
kamen, um an diesem Event teilzunehmen. Im Zenith
bot sich ein ganz besonderes Bild. Rund 150 Fahrzeu-
ge der Baureihen Chevrolet Corvette C1 bis C3 waren
zu bestaunen. Echte Raritäten in bestem Zustand. Von
der Stingray über die Coke Bottle Corvette waren un-
terschiedlichste Baureihen und Karosserievarianten zu
sehen.
