WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
q Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
q Alle Tätigkeiten, an und mit diesem Gerät dürfen nur insoweit ausgeführt werden, wie sie in
dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben sind.
q Falls Sie das Produkt einmal an eine andere Person weitergeben möchten, legen Sie bitte
diese Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
q Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten
Spannung übereinstimmt bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
q Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät niemals beim Gebrauch unbeaufsichtigt.
q Personen (einschließlich Kinder), die aufgrund ihrer physischen,
sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder ihrer Unerfahrenheit oder
Unkenntnis nicht in der Lage sind, das Gerät sicher zu benutzen, sollten
dieses Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht oder Anweisung durch eine verantwortliche Person

noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
q Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht
auf heiße Flächen (z.B. Herdplatten) oder in die Nähe von offenen Flammen.
q Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
q Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
q Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Anschlussleitung nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes
führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder knicken Sie diese
nicht.
q Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Tisch oder auf eine ebene Fläche damit es nicht umfällt.
q Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und vom Gerät, bevor Sie es reinigen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät vollständig erkaltet ist, bevor Sie es reinigen oder
wegräumen.
q Entfernen Sie stets den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen.
q Achten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile während des Betriebes nicht mit leicht
entflammbarem Material, wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen. Gerät
nicht auf heiße Oberflächen oder in der Nähe von offenen Gasflammen abstellen –
Gefahr der Gehäuseanschmelzung.
q Benutzen Sie ausschließlich kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser
aus Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
q Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, wenn die Kanne nicht beschädigt ist. Benutzen Sie die Kanne
nur für dieses Gerät. Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit der Kanne um, da diese leicht zerbrechen

q Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrühen, da beim Kochvorgang Dampf aus dem
Kaffeefilter austritt.
q Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ausschließlich hierfür vorgesehene Produkte. Benutzen Sie
niemals Ammoniak oder andere Produkte, die Ihrer Gesundheit schaden könnten.
q Geben Sie ausschließlich gemahlenen Kaffee in den Filter.
q Schalten Sie Ihre Kaffeemaschine nicht an ohne Wasser eingefüllt zu haben.
Wichtig: Geben Sie Ihre Kanne nie in die Mikrowelle um den Kaffee aufzuwärmen, da
ansonsten Ihr Garantieanspruch erlischt.
q Vergessen Sie niemals, dass der von der Maschine zubereitete Kaffee heiß ist. Bewegen Sie
die gefüllte Kanne nur mit Sorgfalt um Spritzer zu vermeiden.
Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für derartige

Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen
Kundendienst.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
• Vor der ersten Kaffeezubereitung führen Sie bitte mindestens 3 Kochvorgänge mit frischem
Wasser durch (ohne Kaffeepulver).
• Ist das Wasser durchgelaufen, schalten Sie das Gerät ab und wiederholen Sie den
Vorgang nach ca. 5 Minuten mit frischem Wasser.
KAFFEEZUBEREITUNG
• Öffnen Sie den Deckel für Wassertank und Kaffeefilter.
• Füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge in den Wassertank ein. Sowohl die Glaskanne als
auch die Skala am Wassertank zeigen die Mengen für normale Tassen (1 Tasse = 125 ml)
und kleine Tassen. Überfüllen Sie den Wassertank nicht, indem Sie für maximal 12 (15)
Tassen Kaffee Wasser einfüllen.
• Fügen Sie einen Papierfilter (Größe 4) in den Filter ein und füllen Sie ihn mit der
gewünschten Kaffeemenge (pro Tasse ca. 6g, entspricht etwa 1 Teelöffel) auf. HINWEIS:
Falten Sie den unteren und seitlichen Prägerand des Papierfilters so um, dass er sich
optimal der Größe des Filterträgers anpasst.
• Vergessen Sie nicht den Deckel zu schließen bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten.
• Stellen Sie die Glaskanne mit geschlossenem Deckel auf die Warmhalteplatte.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät ein – Schalter in Position „1“. Die Kontrollleuchte am Schalter geht
an, und zeigt, dass das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Die Warmhaltefunktion ermöglicht Ihnen den
Kaffee warm zu halten, wenn die Kaffeemaschine angeschaltet ist und die Kanne sich auf
der Warmhalteplatte befindet.
• Nehmen Sie die Glaskanne nach Beendigung des Brühvorganges von der
Warmhalteplatte (Tropfstopp verhindert Nachtropfen); gießen Sie die gewünschte Menge
Kaffee aus und stellen Sie die Kanne mit dem restlichen Kaffee auf die Warmhalteplatte
zurück.
• Wir empfehlen Ihnen aber das Gerät nicht länger als 2 Stunden angeschaltet zu lassen.
Vergewissern Sie sich auch, dass Sie nie eine leere Kanne auf der heißen Warmhalteplatte
lassen. Die Warmhalteplatte ist so lange in Betrieb, bis der Schalter in Aus-Stellung –
Position „0“ gebracht wird.

ENTKALKUNG UND REINIGUNG
• Wir empfehlen Ihnen, zur
Verlängerung der Lebensdauer,
regelmäßig das Gerät zu entkalken.
Verwenden Sie hierzu nur
handelsübliche Entkalkungsmittel und
beachten Sie die entsprechenden
Gebrauchsanweisungen. Danach
mit klarem Wasser zweimal ohne
Kaffeemehl nachspülen (2
Kochvorgänge) – nicht entkalkte
Geräte sind von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.
• Stellen Sie niemals das Gerät und das
Zubehör in die Spülmaschine.
Reinigen Sie die Kaffeekanne mit
Seifenwasser. Der Deckel ist abnehmbar, heben Sie dazu den Deckel aus seinem
Scharnier.
• Die Plastikteile wischen Sie am besten mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
PRAKTISCHE HINWEISE
Wenn Sie bemerken, dass der Brühvorgang länger als normal dauert, sollten Sie den
Kaffeeautomat entkalken. Warten Sie nicht, bis es noch schlimmer wird. Wie oft Sie die
Kaffeemaschine entkalken müssen, hängt von der Häufigkeit des Gebrauches und der
Kalkmenge im Wasser ab und ist daher von Benutzer zu Benutzer unterschiedlich.
UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2002/96/EG
Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus
wird die spezifische Behandlung, Verwertung bzw. das Recycling gem. den Erfordernissen der
Richtlinie sichergestellt.
GEWÄHRLEISTUNGS- UND GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
Für unsere Produkte gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen für Gewährleistungsansprüche.
Innerhalb dieser Zeit werden Mängel, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen,
behoben. Davon ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, Schäden, die
durch übermäßige Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartung sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche durch Verschleiß oder
infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf hin, dass die
Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens
keine Haftung übernehmen.

Sollten Sie einen Mangel feststellen, geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihren Händler
bzw. Verkaufsstelle. Gewährleistungsansprüche gelten nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen
Kassenbon bzw. der Kopie einer eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme
der Serviceleistung unbedingt mit vorzulegen sind/ist.
Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das gesäuberte Gerät mit einer kurzen, gut lesbaren
Fehlerbeschreibung zusammen mit dem Kassenbon in einer frankierten Sendung an unseren
Kundendienst in unserer Firma in Bad Blankenburg zu senden.
Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum Umtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen, als auch Reinigung, Wartung
oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen nicht unter die Gewährleistung und sind
deshalb kostenpflichtig!
NACH ABLAUF DER GESETZLICHEN GEWÄHRLEISTUNGSFRIST
Reparaturen können kostenpflichtig von entsprechendem Fachpersonal oder Reparaturservice
ausgeführt werden.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
q Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
q Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.
q Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the
instruction manual together with the appliance.
q Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
q Never leave your appliance unsupervised when in use.
q People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of
experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without
supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
q Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they
use it as a toy.
q From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages. Never use the
appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, all repairs should
be made by a competent qualified electrician(*). Never use the appliance if it shows
visible damage.
q Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
q Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never place it into the dishwasher.
q Never use the appliance near hot surfaces. Never place it on hot surfaces (e.g. hotplates)
or near a flame.
q Before cleaning or storing the appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power
supply and let it cool down.
q Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
q Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute
a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
q Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Stand the appliance on a table or flat
surface. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around
the appliance and do not bend it.
q Never touch the hot parts of the appliance (be careful, also the warming plate is a hot
part!), only touch the plastic parts and take the jug by the handle.
q Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials such as
curtains, textiles, ... when it is in use as they might catch fire. Never put the appliance on
hot surfaces or near a flame, as the housing might melt.
q Only use fresh cold or lukewarm drinkable water. Never use water coming from a bathtub
or wash stand or other containers.
q Do not use the appliance if the jug is damaged. Use the jug only for this appliance.
Handle the jug carefully so that it does not break. Never put the jug on the hotplate or any
other hot surface if it is empty or almost empty.
q Pay attention not to get burned by the steam coming out of the filter during use.
q When removing lime scale, only use special products for the removal of lime scale. Never
use ammonia or any other substance that might damage your health.
q Only put ground coffee in the filter.
q Never use your coffee maker without water in it. If you have a programmable coffee
maker, make sure to fill it with water before programming it.
Important: never put the jug in a microwave oven to warm up the coffee. We will not take
any responsibility if you do so.

q Never forget that the coffee coming out of the appliance is very hot. Only move the jug
very carefully to avoid splashing.
Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any
(*)
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
INITIAL OPERATION
• When you use your appliance for the first time, pour fresh water into the water tank and
switch on the appliance (without coffee).
• Once all the water has passed through, switch the appliance off and let it cool down.
When it is cold enough, repeat the process with fresh water. Repeat this process 3 times.
PREPARATION OF COFFEE
• Open the lid of the water tank and the filter holder.
• Pour the desired amount of water into the water tank. Both the glass jug and the scale on
the water tank show the amount for normal cups (1 cup = 125 ml) and small cups. Make
sure not to overfill by filling maximum 12 (15) cups of water.
• Open the lid of the filter holder.
• Insert a paper filter (size 4) in the filter holder and add the desired quantity of ground
coffee (approximately 6g per cup, or a teaspoonful). Pay attention: fold the bottom and
the side edges of the paper filter in such a way that it fits perfectly in the filter holder.
• Never forget to close the lid before switching on your coffee maker.
• Put the jug with closed lid on the hotplate.
• Switch on the coffee maker by putting the switch in position “1”. The pilot light will be
illuminated, indicating that your appliance is in use. Thanks to the keep warm function,
your coffee is warmed up as long as the appliance is switched on and the jug is situated
on the hotplate.
• When the brewing process is over, remove the jug from the hotplate (the drip stop will
prevent dripping); pour the desired amount of coffee and put the jug with the remaining
coffee back on the hotplate.
• However, we advise you to not let the appliance switched on for more than 2 hours and
make sure that you never let an empty jug on the hotplate. The hotplate will only stop
heating up when the switch is in the OFF position (i.e. position “0”).
DESCALING AND CLEANING
• We advise you to descale the
coffee maker to prolong its life
span. For descaling, only use
products especially made to
descale coffee makers and follow
their instruction manual. Then rinse
the appliance twice with fresh
water, without coffee powder.
Guarantee claims will not be
accepted for appliances that
have not been descaled.
• Never use a dishwasher to clean
the jug. Just clean it in soapsuds.

• To clean the plastic parts of the appliance, use a damp, non abrasive cloth.
PRACTICAL HINTS
When you notice that the coffee making process is longer than it should be, it is probably time
to decalcify the appliance. Do not wait until the situation gets worse. The descaling frequency
depends on the amount of lime in water and therefore can be different from family to family.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT– DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.
TERMS OF GUARANTEE
For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the
legal period, all material and manufacturing defects are covered. No claims will be accepted
for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use or care, excessive wear due to
intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual, or normal wear
and tear. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if
attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held
responsible in case of accidents.
If you detect a defect, please contact your vendor or shop and return your complete
appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only
be valid if the receipt or a copy of a repair bill is handed over with the appliance that needs
repair.
Or send the appliance cleaned, well packed and with a short, easily readable description of
the default as well as the receipt freight prepaid to our customer service in our firm in Bad
Blankenburg.
In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the
accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but
only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of
worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!
AFTER THE LEGAL PERIOD OF GUARANTEE
Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified
technician or a repair service.

q Utilisez l'appareil uniquement pour des usages domestiques et de la manière indiquée dans
la notice.
q Ne plongez jamais l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans tout autre liquide ni pour son nettoyage ni
pour toute autre raison. Ne le mettez jamais dans le lave-vaisselle.
q N'utilisez pas l'appareil près de sources de chaleur. Ne le placez jamais sur une source de
chaleur (par exemple des plaques électriques) ou près d’une flamme.
q L’appareil doit obligatoirement être débranché et refroidi avant de le nettoyer ou de le
ranger.
q Veillez à ne pas utiliser l'appareil à l'extérieur et entreposez-le dans un endroit sec.
q Ne pas utiliser des accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant, cela peut présenter un
danger pour l’utilisateur et risque d’endommager l’appareil.
q Ne déplacez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le câble. Posez cet appareil sur une table ou
un support suffisamment stable et veillez à ce que le cordon d’alimentation ne puisse être
accidentellement accroché afin d’éviter toute chute de l’appareil. Evitez d’enrouler le
cordon autour de l’appareil, ne le placez pas contre des parties chaudes et ne le tordez
pas.
q Ne pas toucher les surfaces chaudes de l’appareil, faites usage de la poignée pour
déplacer la verseuse.
q Veillez à ce que l’appareil n’entre pas en contact avec des matériaux facilement
inflammables comme les rideaux, les tissus,... lorsqu’il est en fonctionnement car le feu
pourrait se déclarer. Ne placez pas l'appareil sur des surfaces chaudes ou à proximité
d'une flamme afin d'éviter que le corps de l'appareil ne fonde.
q Veillez à n’utiliser que de l’eau fraîche (potable) et froide (tempérée). Ne pas utiliser l’eau
contenue dans des baignoires, lavabos ou autres récipients.
q N’utilisez cet appareil que si la carafe ne présente aucune fêlure. N’utilisez cette carafe
que sur cet appareil. Manipulez cette carafe avec beaucoup de soin car le verre est
fragile. Ne mettez pas la carafe vide ou presque vide sur la plaque chauffante ou sur
toute autre surface chaude.
q Attention de ne pas vous brûler avec la vapeur qui s’échappe au-dessus du filtre à café.
q Lors d’un éventuel détartrage, ne faites usage que de produits spécialement étudiés pour
le détartrage de cafetières. Ne faites pas usage d’ammoniac ou de toute autre
substance qui pourrait nuire à votre santé.

q Ne mettez rien d’autre que du café moulu dans le filtre à café.
q Ne faites pas fonctionner votre cafetière sans eau. Important : votre verseuse ne peut en
aucun cas être placée dans un four à micro-ondes pour réchauffer le café. Nous ne
saurions être tenus comme responsables des dégâts causés par le non-respect de cette
consigne.
q N'oubliez jamais que le café sorti de la cafetière est chaud. Manipulez la carafe avec
précaution afin d'éviter tout risque d'éclaboussures.
Service qualifié compétent: Service après vente du fabricant ou de l'importateur ou une
(*)
personne qualifiée, reconnue et habilitée à faire ce genre de réparation afin d'éviter tout
danger. Dans tous les cas, veuillez retourner l'appareil auprès de ce service.
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
• Lorsque vous utilisez votre appareil pour la première fois, versez de l’eau dans le réservoir
(sans mettre de café) et mettez l'appareil en fonctionnement.
• Dès que l’eau est passée, éteignez votre appareil et répétez cette opération 2 fois
successivement en attendant à chaque fois que l’appareil soit suffisamment refroidi.
POUR FAIRE LE CAFÉ
• Soulevez le couvercle du réservoir et du porte-filtre.
• Versez la quantité d’eau désirée dans le réservoir. Le niveau d’eau est indiqué sur le
réservoir et sur la verseuse en verre en nombre de tasses normales (1 tasse = 125 ml) et de
petites tasses. Ne versez pas plus de 12 tasses normales (15 petites tasses) d'eau dans le
réservoir.
• Mettez un filtre papier (taille 4) dans le porte-filtre et remplissez-le avec la quantité de café
moulu désirée (plus ou moins 6 gr par tasse). Attention: pliez le fond et les bords du filtre
papier de façon à ce qu’il s’insère parfaitement dans le porte-filtre.
• N’oubliez pas de refermer le couvercle avant de mettre l’appareil en marche.
• Placez la verseuse avec couvercle fermé sur la plaque chauffante.
• Ensuite, allumez la cafetière en mettant l’interrupteur sur la position « 1 ». Le témoin
lumineux de l'interrupteur s'allumera, vous indiquant que votre appareil est en
fonctionnement. Un dispositif vous permet de conserver le café au chaud tant que la
cafetière est en fonctionnement et que la verseuse est placée sur la plaque chauffante.
• Dès que le réservoir est vide et que le café est passé, retirez la verseuse (le système anti-
gouttes empêche les gouttes de tomber sur la plaque). Servez la quantité de café désirée
et replacez la verseuse sur la plaque chauffante.
• Cependant, il est déconseillé de laisser l'appareil allumé pendant une durée supérieure à
deux heures et surtout de laisser la verseuse vide sur la plaque chauffante. La plaque
chauffante ne s'arrêtera de chauffer que si vous mettez l'interrupteur sur la position arrêt
(« 0 »).
DÉTARTRAGE ET NETTOYAGE
• Nous vous conseillons de détartrer votre appareil régulièrement pour le garder en bon
état. Pour cela, utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous trouverez dans
le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Rincez ensuite l'appareil deux fois
à l'eau claire, sans café. Un appareil qui n'a pas été détartré ne sera pas couvert par la
garantie.

CONSEILS PRATIQUES
Lorsque vous constatez une augmentation du temps de passage du café, effectuez un
détartrage complet de votre appareil et n’attendez surtout pas que la situation s’aggrave. La
fréquence de détartrage est fonction de la dureté de l’eau et varie par conséquent selon les
foyers. Il est par conséquent important de porter une attention particulière au phénomène
d’entartrage.
PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/CE
Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils
électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite
l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C’est pour cette raison que votre
appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur
l'emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans une poubelle publique ou privée destinée
aux ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur a le droit de déposer l'appareil gratuitement dans des lieux
publics de collecte procédant à un tri sélectif des déchets pour être soit recyclé, soit réutilisé
pour d’autres applications conformément à la directive.
CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Pour nos produits, les conditions légales concernant les réclamations dans le cadre de la
période de garantie sont d’application.
Pendant la période légale, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie : les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage ou
entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.
Si vous constatez un défaut, adressez-vous à votre revendeur ou au magasin et retournez
l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ainsi que le ticket de caisse. Les réclamations
introduites dans le cadre de la garantie sont uniquement valables si le ticket de caisse ou la
copie d’une facture de réparation éventuelle est joint(e).

Ou envoyez l'appareil nettoyé, bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec une courte description
du défaut en majuscules à notre service après-vente dans notre firme à Bad Blankenburg en
joignant également votre ticket de caisse.
Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux! En cas de verre cassé, le
remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant. L'échange des accessoires soumis à
l'usure ainsi que le nettoyage et l'entretien ou l'échange de pièces usées ne sont pas couverts
par la garantie et l'échange de ces pièces sera donc payant!
APRES LA PERIODE LEGALE DE GARANTIE
Les réparations après la période de garantie peuvent être effectuées par un service qualifié
compétent ou par un service de réparation moyennant payement.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
q Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig vooraleer u uw toestel gebruikt.
q Het toestel mag enkel gebruikt worden zoals in deze gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven is.
q Wanneer u dit toestel aan een andere gebruiker overhandigt, gelieve altijd deze
gebruiksaanwijzing bij te sluiten.
q Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel
vooraleer u het gebruikt.
q Laat uw toestel nooit onbeheerd achter bij gebruik.
q Personen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensoriële of
mentale capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, het
toestel niet veilig kunnen gebruiken, mogen dit toestel niet zonder toezicht of
instructies van een verantwoordelijke persoon gebruiken.
q Hou kinderen goed in het oog om te vermijden dat ze met het toestel spelen.
q Controleer regelmatig of het snoer en het toestel niet beschadigd zijn. Indien het snoer,
de stekker of het toestel zelf beschadigd zijn, mag het toestel uit veiligheidsoverwegingen
niet meer gebruikt worden. Gelieve het te laten herstellen door een bekwame
gekwalificeerde dienst(*).
q Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
q Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te
reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een afwasmachine.
q Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen. Zet het nooit op een heet
oppervlak (bv. een fornuis) of in de buurt van open vlammen.
q Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt of
opbergt.
q Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge plaats.
q Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan het
toestel beschadigen en gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker.
q Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Plaats het toestel op een tafel of
op een voldoende stabiel oppervlak zodat het niet valt en zorg ervoor dat het
elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel
veroorzaken. Draai het snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
q Let erop dat u de warme onderdelen van het toestel niet aanraakt (opgepast: de plaat
waarop de koffiekan gezet wordt, is eveneens warm!). Hanteer enkel de plastic delen.
Gebruik het handvat om de koffiekan op te nemen.
q Zorg ervoor dat het toestel nooit in contact komt met ontvlambare stoffen zoals gordijnen
en dergelijke wanneer het in gebruik is om brand te vermijden. Plaats het toestel niet op
een warm oppervlak of in de buurt van een vlam, daar de behuizing zou kunnen smelten.
q Gebruik enkel koud of lauw (drinkbaar) water. Geen water gebruiken uit baden, wastafels
of andere recipiënten.
q Gebruik dit toestel enkel indien de koffiekan geen enkele beschadiging vertoont. Gebruik
de koffiekan enkel met dit toestel. Wees voorzichtig met de kan vermits het glas
breekbaar is. Plaats nooit de lege (of bijna lege) kan op de warmhoudplaat van uw
koffiezetapparaat, of op eender welke verwarmingsbron.
q Gebruik voor het ontkalken enkel speciaal hiertoe bestemde producten. Gebruik geen
ammoniak of andere stof die uw gezondheid zou kunnen schaden.
q Schep enkel gemalen koffie in de filter.
q Laat uw koffiezetapparaat niet werken zonder water. Belangrijk: plaats de kan nooit in de
microgolfoven om de koffie op te warmen. Indien u dat wel doet, vervalt de garantie.

q Vergeet nooit dat de temperatuur van uw bereiding hoog is. Behandel de kan voorzichtig
om spatten te voorkomen.
Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant of de invoerder, die erkend
(*)
en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve
het toestel bij problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.
EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
• Wanneer u uw koffiezetapparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, giet dan vooreerst water in
het waterreservoir en schakel het toestel in (zonder koffie).
• Is het water doorgelopen, schakel het apparaat dan uit, en herhaal deze handeling 2
maal waarbij u telkens wacht tot het apparaat afgekoeld is.
KOFFIE ZETTEN
• Open het deksel van het waterreservoir en de filterhouder.
• Giet de gewenste hoeveelheid water in het reservoir. Zowel de glazen kan als de schaal
op het waterreservoir tonen de hoeveelheden voor normale kopjes (1kopje = 125 ml) en
kleine kopjes. Overschrijd het maximumpeil van 12 (15) kopjes niet, anders zal de koffiekan
overlopen.
• Leg een papieren filter (maat 4) in de filterhouder en vul deze met de gewenste
hoeveelheid gemalen koffie (ca. 6 gr per kopje, oftewel een theelepeltje). Let op: vouw
de onderste rand en de zijrand van de papierfilter zo om dat hij perfect in de filterhouder
past.
• Vergeet het deksel niet te sluiten vooraleer u het toestel inschakelt.
• Plaats de glazen kan met gesloten deksel op de warmhoudplaat.
• Schakel het koffiezetapparaat in door de schakelaar in positie “1” te zetten. Het lichtje
van de schakelaar zal branden om aan te duiden dat het toestel in werking is getreden.
Dankzij de warmhoudfunctie blijft de koffie warm zolang het toestel ingeschakeld is en de
koffiekan op de warmhoudplaat staat.
• Wanneer de koffie doorgelopen is, haal dan de koffiekan uit het toestel (een drupklep
zorgt ervoor dat het water niet op de warmhoudplaat drupt). Schenk de gewenste
hoeveelheid koffie uit en plaats de kan weer op de warmhoudplaat.
• Het is echter afgeraden om het apparaat meer dan 2 uur ingeschakeld te laten en vooral
om een lege koffiekan op de warmhoudplaat te laten staan. Zolang de schakelaar niet in
de UIT-stand is (d.w.z. stand”0”), blijft de warmhoudplaat werken.
ONTKALKING EN REINIGING
• Wij raden u aan het apparaat
regelmatig te ontkalken. Dit verlengt
de levensduur van het apparaat.
Gebruik hiervoor de in de handel
zijnde ontkalkingsmiddelen en volg
hun gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig.
Spoel daarna het toestel met zuiver
water, zonder koffie (2 cycli). Een
toestel dat niet werd ontkalkt, wordt
niet door de garantie gedekt.

• Plaats geen enkel onderdeel van uw koffiezetapparaat in de vaatwasmachine. Reinig de
koffiekan in een warme sop. Het deksel is afneembaar; hef daarvoor het deksel uit zijn
scharnier.
• Gebruik een vochtige doek om de plastieken delen en de warmhoudplaat te reinigen.
PRAKTISCHE TIPS
Indien u merkt dat de koffie trager doorloopt, dan ontkalkt u best het apparaat. Wacht in
geen geval tot het erger wordt. De ontkalkingsfrequentie hangt af van het kalkgehalte van
het water en varieert bijgevolg van gezin tot gezin. Het is dus heel belangrijk om de
kalkaanslag in het oog te houden.
MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2002/96/EG
Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Daarom mag uw apparaat,
zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool , niet met
het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel gratis naar
een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het overeenkomstig
de richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal worden.
GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN
Voor onze producten gelden de wettelijke bepalingen wat betreft aanspraken op de
waarborg. Tijdens de wettelijke periode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de
waarborg kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor
defecten ten gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden of van slecht onderhoud, van
overmatige slijtage door intensief gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van
de gebruiksaanwijzing, of voor defecten ten gevolge van normale slijtage. Op de waarborg
kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of indien er
pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet
aansprakelijk worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.
Indien u een defect vaststelt, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper of winkel waar u
het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig het volledige toestel in zijn oorspronkelijke verpakking
samen met uw kasticket. Aanspraken op de garantie gelden enkel indien het kasticket of een
kopie van een eventuele herstelfactuur bijgesloten wordt.
Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare
beschrijving van de defecten samen met het kasticket naar onze klantendienst in onze fabriek
in Bad Blankenburg.

Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis
vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte
accessoires. Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage evenals reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van
onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn, worden niet door de waarborg gedekt en moeten
dus betaald worden!
NA AFLOOP VAN DE WETTELIJKE GARANTIEPERIODE
Herstellingen na afloop van de garantieperiode kunnen mits betaling door bekwame
gekwalificeerde vaklui of herstellingsdiensten uitgevoerd worden.
