tion. A panel of expert judges will draw up a
shortlist in advance, and the audience will de-
cide through a live vote who the final winners

Gastronomy concepts and inspiration
from Flanders
I
n 2019, the industry event’s theme is all about
innovative gastronomy concepts for the
food retail industry. This theme focusses on
the growing out-of-home trend and shows pro-
mising solutions for practice. For the first time,
the Marketplace and Trade conference event
sections will be directly linked to each other, as
the gastronomy concepts presented can also
be experienced at the Marketplace. Additional
inspiration is being brought to Munich by the
2019 guest country, the epicurean region of
Flanders. The pleasureoriented Flemish pro-
mise exciting food and gastronomy trends for
