Eine Frau in einem Mantel taucht auf. Sie kämpft darum,
sich von psychischen Schmerzen zu befreien. Wie? Durch
seltsame Bewegungen drückt sie sich in einem neuen Tanz-
stil aus, der in der Zeichensprache verwurzelt ist. Der
Choreograf suchte nach „tanzbaren“ Phrasen der Gebär-
densprache und fügte sie in einem Gedicht zusammen – die
Geschichte einer Frau, die viel mehr ist als eine Person mit
Behinderung: eine fantastische fliegende Tänzerin.
A woman in a coat appears. She struggles to ease her
mental anguish. How? Moving oddly, she expresses her-
self through a new style of dance, rooted in sign language.
Grégory Darcy searched for „danceable” phrases in sign
language and put them together in a poem which tells the
story of this woman who is so much more than a person
with a handicap: a fantastic flying dancer.
