ventiveness and constant change. Festivals present new
work and artistic positions of Berlin-based groups as
well as individual artists. With thematic points of focus
and genre-specific delimitations, these ease access to
Berlin’s independent performing arts community for au-

one’s way through the incredible diversity and
density of Berlin’s art and culture community. A
variety of information centers, service portals and
communication offers provide an initial overview.
In order to receive deeper insight into the devel-
oped structures that significantly shape the relevant
discourses and artistic working conditions in the
city, it is highly recommended that you contact the
various initiatives, organizations and professional
associations directly.
Um sich durch die unglaubliche Vielfalt und Dichte
der Berliner Kunst- und Kulturszene zu bewegen,
gibt es eine Vielzahl von Zugängen. Einen ersten
Überblick verschaffen unterschiedliche Informations-
