MAD® CSi – WIRELESS BITE INDICATORS

This new wireless set is a great addition to the already very extensive bite alarm range of MAD.
CSi stands for Compact System Indicator that points out that we aimed to keep the design of the
indicators as compact as possible. First of all, we have kept all the various functions on a
“need-to-have” basis like we did with the extremely successful Scream alarms.
Again we concentrated on getting excellent wireless functions and long range receiving capabilities
by cancelling all electronics that could cause signal interruption. Second, by a very innovative way of
positioning the magnetic indication wheel we have managed to get the size of the alarm down even
further while at the same time keeping enough room for a 9V block battery!
The front position of the wheel also massively improves the stability of the rod on the indictor as well as
the line guidance. The MAD CSi wireless bite alarm set fits outstanding in the latest “less is more” trend in
carp fishing, where all the gear needs to be as compact, light and subtle as possible. The unique feature
of the magnetic wheel position again shows the MAD® team’s constant efforts to be one step ahead and
innovative. On top of all the previous, the CSi indictors can be paired with the amazing FSX Intelligent
Tent Light! The MAD® CSi bite indicators operate on a 9 V battery and the Receiver on 3 x AAA 1,5 V
batteries (Batteries not included!)

Operating Instructions
➀ Open the battery cover of receiver. Install the three 1.5V AAA batteries. Turn the receiver on by
pressing ON/OFF-key for approximately two seconds.
➁ Open the battery cover of the bite indicator to install the 9V battery. Press the ON/OFF-key to turn
the unit on.
➂ Adjust the volume by pressing the V-key, and the sensitivity by pressing the S-key repeatedly until
the right setting has been found.
How to program the bite indicator to the receiver
The bite indicators and the receiver can be programmed very easily by setting the dip switch systems to
correspond with each other. Here is how it works:
You find the dip switch system in the battery compartment.
Always make sure to keep the 4 dip switches of receiver and the
4 switches of the alarm in the same position so that they are paired.
Attention
• Although the alarms are designed to function in all weather conditions do NOT put them into the water.
• Whenever you do not use the alarms for a longer time, take out the batteries.
• Do NOT screw the alarms on the buzzer bar or bank stick too tight to prevent the alarm from damaging.
• Although the signal range of the alarms is very big, please stay near your rods at all times in order to
prevent the fish from getting stuck into snags.

Dieses neue drahtlose Set ist eine tolle Ergänzung zu dem bereits sehr umfangreichen
Bissanzeigerprogramm von MAD. CSi steht für Compact System Indicator, was andeutet, dass wir
versucht haben, das Design der Bissanzeiger so kompakt wie möglich zu halten. Zuerst einmal haben
wir alle Funktionen auf der Basis von „einfach unentbehrlich“ behandelt, was wir ja auch schon bei den
extrem erfolgreichen Scream Bissanzeigern getan haben. Wieder haben wir uns darauf konzentriert, eine
exzellente, drahtlose Funktionsweise und guten Empfang auch auf Entfernung zu bekommen, indem wir
alle Elektronik, die Signalstörungen verursachen könnte, weggelassen haben.
Zweitens konnten wir durch eine sehr innovative Platzierung des magnetischen Bissanzeigerädchens
die Größe des Alarms noch weiter verringern und gleichzeitig genug Platz für einen 9-V-Block erhalten!
Die Platzierung des Rädchens im vorderen Bereich verbessert auch die Stabilität der Rute in ihrer
Auflage auf dem Bissanzeiger erheblich sowie die Schnurführung. Das drahtlose MAD CSi Set passt
perfekt zu dem neuesten Trend beim Karpfenangeln – „weniger ist mehr“ – , wo alles so kompakt, leicht
und unauffällig wie möglich sein soll. Die einzigartige Platzierung des Bissanzeigerädchens zeigt wieder
einmal die Bemühungen des MAD Teams, innovativ und der Konkurrenz einen Schritt voraus zu sein.
Zusätzlich zu all dem lassen sich die CSi Bissanzeiger mit dem bemerkenswerten, intelligenten FSX
Zeltlicht koppeln! Die MAD CSi Bissanzeiger arbeiten mit einer 9-Volt-Batterie und der Receiver mit
3 AAA Batterien (1,5 Volt). Batterien nicht enthalten.

Betriebsanleitung
➀ Öffnen sie das Batteriefach des Empfängers und legen Sie die 1,5V AAA Batterien ein. Schalten Sie
den Empfänger an, indem Sie den ON/OFF-Knopf für ca. 2 Sekunden gedrückt halten.
➁ Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach des Bissanzeigers um das 9V Batterie einzulegen. Drücken Sie den
ON/OFF-Knopf, um das Gerät anzuschalten.
➂ Stellen Sie die Lautstärke am V-Knopf, und die Sensibilität am S-Knopf ein, indem Sie wiederholt
drücken, bis die richtige Einstellung gefunden ist.
Programmierung der Abstimmung der Bissanzeiger auf den Empfänger
Die Kommunikation der Bissanzeiger mit dem Empfänger kann durch Einstellung der DIP-Schalter sehr
einfach programmiert werden. Und so funktioniert es:
Das DIP-Schaltersystem befindet sich im Batteriefach.
Es muss sichergestellt sein, dass die 4 Schalter immer in der gleichen Position
wie die der Anzeiger sein müssen um die richtige Abstimmung des Alarms zu
gewährleisten.
Achtung:
• Obwohl die Bissanzeiger für den Einsatz bei jedem Wetter konstruiert sind, sollten sie auf keinen Fall
ins Wasser getaucht werden.
• Wenn sie die Bissanzeiger für längere Zeit nicht benutzen, entfernen Sie die Batterien.
• Schrauben Sie die Bissanzeiger nicht zu fest auf Banksticks und Buzzerbars, damit diese keinen
Schaden nehmen.
• Obwohl die Reichweite der Bissanzeiger sehr groß ist, sollten Sie in der Nähe ihrer Ruten bleiben,
um zu verhindern, dass Fische sich in Hindernissen verhängen.

MAD® CSI – WIRELESS BITE ALARM
Ce nouveau kit sans fil est une grande nouveauté dans la famille déjà bien fournie des détecteurs MAD.
CSi signifie Compact System Indicator et indique notre souhait de garder un design aussi compact que
possible. D’abord, nous avons conservé toutes les fonctions indispensables comme nous l’avions fait
avec les fameux détecteurs MAD Scream. Nous sommes concentrés pour obtenir une détection sans fil
longue distance en supprimamt toute l’électronique qui peut causer des intéruptions du signal. Ensuite,
par un positionnement innovant de la roue magnétique de détection, nous avons réussi à réduire la taille
du détecteur tout en conservant suffisamment de place pour une alimentaion longue durée avec pile 9V.
La position de la roue vers l’avant améliore aussi la stabilité de la canne sur le détecteur et le guidage
du fil également. Cette caractéristique exclusive place encore une fois MAD loin devant la concurrence.
Enfin, les détecteurs CSi peuvent être synchronisés avec la lampe de biwy FSX Intelligent Tent Light !

Instructions d’utilisation
➀ Ouvrir le compartiment à piles de la centrale. Installer 3 piles 1,5v AAA. Allumer la centrale en
maintenant le bouton ON/OFF appuyé pendant approximativement 2 secondes
➁ Ouvrir le compartiment à piles du détecteur et installer 1 pile 9V. Presser le bouton ON/OFF pour
mettre en marche.
➂ Ajuster le volume en pressant la touche V et la sensibilité sur la touche S.
Instructions de synchronisation
Les détecteurs et la centrale peuvent être synchronisés facilement
en réglant les curseurs internes de manière identique.
Attention
•B
ien que les détecteurs soient conçus pour fonctionner par tout temps, éviter de le plonger sous l’eau
•R
etirer les piles en cas de non utilisation prolongée.
•N
e pas serrer les détecteurs trop fort sur un buzz bar ou un pique afin d’éviter de les détériorer.
•B
ien que la portée de la centrale soit importante, ne vous éloignez pas trop de vos cannes afin d’éviter
que les carpes puissent rejoindre des obstacles.
