wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für dieses Induktionskochfeld entschieden haben.
Lesen Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Gerätes die Anleitung sorgfältig durch und
bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachlesen auf. Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes ist auch
diese Anleitung mitzugeben. Hersteller und Importeur übernehmen keine Haftung,
wenn die Angaben in dieser Anleitung nicht beachtet werden.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Das Gerät ist zum Zubereiten von Lebensmitteln in einem Topf, einer Pfanne o. Ä.
bestimmt.
• Das Gerät ist zur Verwendung mit Kochgeschirr aus Edelstahl sowie mit gussei-
sernen und Emaillekochgeschirr geeignet. Es eignet sich nicht zur Verwendung mit
z. B. Kochgeschirr aus (legiertem) Aluminium oder Kupfer.
• Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung mit Kochgeschirr mit flachem Boden geeignet.
• Das Gerät ist für Kochgeschirr mit einem Durchmesser bis zu 28 cm (der Boden-
durchmesser darf nicht kleiner als ca. 12 cm und nicht größer als ca. 25 cm be-
tragen) geeignet. Kleineres bzw. größeres Kochgeschirr kann nicht mit dem Gerät
verwendet werden.
• Das Gerät ist für den Privatgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung geeignet.
• Das Gerät nur für den angegebenen Zweck und nur wie in der Anleitung beschrie-
ben nutzen. Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemä-
ße Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch
für den normalen Verschleiß.
Sicherheitshinweise
Das Gerät ist mit Sicherheitsvorrichtungen ausgestattet. Von
dem Gerät können dennoch bei nicht bestimmungsgemä-
ßer Verwendung und / oder andersartiger Nutzung Gefah-
ren ausgehen. Die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sowie die
in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen Vorgehens-
weisen einhalten.
■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Per-
sonen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und / oder Wissen be-5 DE
nutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des siche-
ren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
■ Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■ Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und
werden beaufsichtigt.
■ Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre und Tiere sind vom Gerät und dem
Netzkabel fernzuhalten.
■ WARNUNG! Ist die Glasoberfläche des Gerätes gerissen,
ist das Gerät abzuschalten, um einen möglichen elektrischen
Schlag zu vermeiden.
■ VORSICHT: Heiße Oberfläche! Die Glasplatte wird
während des Gebrauchs sehr heiß. Gegenstände aus
Metall, wie z. B. Messer, Gabeln, Löffel und Deckel,
sollten nicht auf die Kochplatte gelegt werden, da sie
heiß werden können. Während und nach der Benutzung
des Gerätes nicht mit aufgeheizten Teilen in Berührung
kommen! Ausschließlich das Bedienfeld berühren wäh-
rend das Gerät in Betrieb ist oder unmittelbar nach dem
Ausschalten. Warten, bis sich das Gerät vollständig ab-
gekühlt hat, bevor es transportiert bzw. verstaut wird.
Geeignete Küchenhandschuhe im Umgang mit dem
Gerät benutzen.
■ Das Gerät, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals in Was-
ser oder andere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstellen,
dass diese nicht ins Wasser fallen oder nass werden können.
■ Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht und vor dem Reini-
gen stets vom Netz zu trennen.
■ Das Gerät ist nicht dazu bestimmt, mit einer externen Zeitschalt-
uhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben zu werden.
■ Vor jeder Inbetriebnahme das Gerät auf Beschädigungen über-
prüfen. Das Gerät nur benutzen, wenn das Gerät, das Netzkabel
und der Netzstecker keine Schäden aufweisen!
■ Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Auch das Netzka-
bel nicht selbst austauschen. Wenn das Gerät, das Netzkabel
oder der Netzstecker des Gerätes beschädigt sind, müssen die-DE 6
se Teile durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person (z. B. Fachwerkstatt) ersetzt werden, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
■ Unbedingt Hinweise im Kapitel „Reinigung und Aufbewahrung“
beachten!
GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr durch Wasser
■ Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden und lagern. Das Gerät nicht in
Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit betreiben.
■ Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen, sofort die Stromzufuhr unterbrechen. Nicht
versuchen, es aus dem Wasser zu ziehen, während es an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist!
■ Das Gerät, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Händen
berühren, wenn diese Komponenten an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sind.
■ Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn es eine Fehlfunktion hatte, heruntergefallen
oder ins Wasser gefallen ist. Vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme in einer Fachwerkstatt
überprüfen lassen.
WARNUNG – Stromschlaggefahr durch Schäden und
unsachgemäße Benutzung
■ Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit Schutzkontakten
anschließen. Die Steckdose muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugänglich sein,
damit die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt werden kann. Die Netzspannung muss
mit den technischen Daten des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
■ Das Gerät nicht in Verbindung mit Verlängerungskabeln nutzen.
■ Das Gerät muss ausgeschaltet sein, wenn der Netzstecker gezogen oder in die
Steckdose gesteckt wird.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■ Das Gerät nicht in Räumen benutzen, in denen sich leichtentzündliche oder explosive
Substanzen befinden. Das Gerät nie in der Nähe einer Gasquelle betreiben.
■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbarem Material betreiben. Keine brennbaren
Materialien (z. B. Pappe, Papier, Kunststoff) auf das Gerät legen.
■ Das Gerät nicht zusammen mit anderen Verbrauchern (mit hoher Wattleistung) an
eine Mehrfachsteckdose anschließen, um eine Überlastung und ggf. einen Kurz-
schluss (Brand) zu vermeiden.
■ Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht abdecken, um einen Gerätebrand zu ver-
meiden. Darauf achten, dass die Lüftungsschlitze auf der Unterseite des Gerätes
nicht verdeckt bzw. verstopft sind. Für ausreichende Belüftung sorgen, während das
Gerät in Betrieb ist.
■ Im Brandfall:
– Unbedingt sofort den Netzstecker ziehen.
– Heißes Fett / Öl kann sich bei Überhitzen entzünden. Brennendes Fett / Öl nicht mit
Wasser löschen, sondern die Flammen mit einer Löschdecke o. Ä. ersticken oder7 DE
einen Fettbrand mit einem Feuerlöscher, der zum Löschen von Speisefettbränden
geeignet ist, löschen!
– Zum Löschen KEIN Wasser verwenden, da durch den Wasserdampf zusätzlich
Verbrühungsrisiko entsteht.
– Das Gerät entsorgen.
VORSICHT – Verletzungsgefahr
Verbrühungsgefahr durch Hitze, heißen Dampf oder Kondenswasser!
■ Während des Betriebes kann heißer Dampf aus dem Kochgeschirr auf dem
Gerät austreten. Kopf und Hände aus der Gefahrenzone halten.
■ Das Netzkabel darf nicht von der Aufstellfläche herabhängen, um ein
Herunterreißen des Gerätes mitsamt des Kochgeschirrs zu verhindern.
■ Das Gerät während des Gebrauchs nicht bewegen.
■ Sturzgefahr! Darauf achten, dass das angeschlossene Netzkabel keine
Stolpergefahr darstellt.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und Sachschäden
■ Darauf achten, dass das Netzkabel nicht gequetscht, geknickt oder über scharfe
Kanten gelegt wird und nicht mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt (dies gilt auch
für die heißen Flächen des Gerätes!).
■ Niemals kaltes Wasser während oder direkt nach dem Gebrauch des Gerätes auf
die Glasplatte spritzen. Diese könnte zerspringen!
■ Metallgegenstände oder sonstige scharfkantige Gegenstände vom Gerät fernhal-
ten. Diese könnten die Glasplatte beschädigen.
■ Niemals schwere Gegenstände auf das Gerät stellen bzw. fallen lassen.
■ Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn wäh-
rend des Betriebes ein Fehler auftritt oder vor einem Gewitter.
■ Das Gerät niemals am Netzkabel ziehen oder tragen. Wenn der Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose gezogen wird, immer am Netzstecker und nie am Netzkabel ziehen.
■ Das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät wickeln.
■ Das Gerät vor anderen Wärmequellen, offenem Feuer, Minustemperaturen, lang
anhaltender Feuchtigkeit, Nässe und Stößen schützen.

Sicherheitsvorrichtungen
• Das Gerät ist mit einem internen Timer (Zeitschaltuhr) ausgestattet. Nach Ablauf
der eingestellten Timerzeit ertönt ein Signalton und das Gerät wird automatisch ab-
geschaltet. Der Lüfter bleibt nach dem Ablauf der Timerzeit noch ca. 50 Sekunden
aktiv und schaltet sich danach ab. Um das Gerät erneut einzuschalten, das Feld
(G) berühren (siehe Kapitel „Funktionen“).
• Das Gerät verfügt über einen Überhitzungsschutz. Wird das Gerät zu heiß, schaltet
es sich automatisch aus. In diesem Fall das Gerät vollständig abkühlen lassen und
danach erneut einschalten (siehe Kapitel „Funktionen“).9 DE
Funktionen
• Mit dem Feld Max (A) wird die höchste Leistung (2000 Watt) eingestellt.
• Mit dem Feld Min (B) wird die niedrigste Leistung (200 Watt) eingestellt.
• Die Kontrollleuchte (C) leuchtet, wenn sich das Gerät im Modus zum Einstellen
der Leistung befindet. Im Display werden voreingestellt 1 200 Watt angezeigt.
• Die Kontrollleuchte (D) leuchtet, wenn sich das Gerät im Modus zum Einstellen
der Temperatur befindet. Im Display werden voreingestellt 180 °C angezeigt.
• Die Kontrollleuchte (E) blinkt, wenn sich das Gerät im Modus zum Einstellen des
Timers befindet. Im Display werden voreingestellt 0 Min. angezeigt. Nach Einstellen
der gewünschten Timerzeit ca. 5 Sekunden warten, bis die Kontrollleuchte dauer-
haft leuchtet. Der Timer ist aktiviert.
• Die Betriebsleuchte (F) leuchtet, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.
• Über das Feld (G) wird das Gerät ein- bzw. ausgeschaltet.
• Über das Feld (H) wird zwischen den verschiedenen Modi gewechselt. Die Modi
können in der folgenden Reihenfolge eingestellt werden: Leistung – Timer – Tempe-
ratur – Timer. Je nach ausgewähltem Modus leuchtet bzw. blinkt die entsprechende
Konntrollleuchte.
• Über die Felder + / – (I / K) kann die gewünschte Leistung (in 200-Watt-Schritten),
Timerzeit (in 1-Minuten-Schritten) bzw. Temperatur (in 20-Grad-Schritten) einge-
stellt werden.
Im Modus zum Einstellen der Timerzeit kann durch längeres Berühren der
Felder + / – der Schnelldurchlauf aktiviert werden (10-Minuten-Schritte).
• Im Display (J) werden abwechselnd die eingestellte Leistung und die verbleibende
Timerzeit bzw. die eingestellte Temperatur und die verbleibende Timerzeit ange-
zeigt. An den Kontrollleuchten ist zu erkennen, welcher Wert im Display angezeigt
wird.
• Die Felder + und – gleichzeitig betätigen, um das Bedienfeld zu sperren und somit
die Kindersicherung zu aktivieren. Alle Bedienelemente bis auf das Feld werden
deaktiviert und im Display erscheint ein „L“. Um das Bedienfeld zu entsperren, er-
neut die Felder + und – gleichzeitig betätigen. Das „L“ im Display erlischt und die
Leistungs-, Timerzeit- und Temperaturanzeige erscheinen abwechselnd.
Benutzung
BEACHTEN!
■ Das Gerät kann mit möglichen Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Das Gerät
daher vor dem ersten Gebrauch gründlich reinigen (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und
Aufbewahrung“).
■ Das Gerät immer mit einem Freiraum zu allen Seiten (mind. 20 cm) und Freiraum
nach oben (mind. 50 cm) auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen und hitzeunempfind-
lichen Untergrund stellen.
■ Das Gerät nicht unter Küchenoberschränke o. Ä. stellen. Durch den aufsteigenden
Dampf könnten diese Schaden nehmen!
■ Die Oberflächen von Möbeln enthalten möglicherweise Bestandteile, die die Stellfü-
ße des Gerätes angreifen und aufweichen können. Gegebenenfalls eine geeignete
Unterlage unter die Stellfüße legen.DE 10
■ Kein leeres Kochgeschirr auf dem Gerät erhitzen. Das Kochgeschirr könnte beschä-
digt werden.
■ Kein Kochgeschirr verwenden, auf dessen Boden sich Kratzer, Riefen oder Uneben-
heiten befinden. Kochgeschirr nicht über die Glasplatte schieben. Diese könnte zer-
kratzt werden.
■ Die Glasplatte und den Boden des Kochgeschirrs vor dem Gebrauch abwischen,
um Verschmutzungen zu entfernen. Diese könnten die Glasplatte zerkratzen.
• Die Aufheizgeschwindigkeit bei Induktionsherden bzw. Induktionskochfel-
dern ist höher als bei anderen Herdarten.
• Bei der Benutzung von Kochgeschirr auf Induktionsherden bzw. Induktions-
kochfeldern können Geräusche entstehen. Diese sind durch die elektroma-
gnetischen Eigenschaften von Induktionsherden bzw. Induktionskochfeldern
und Induktionskochgeschirr bedingt und stellen keinen Defekt dar.
• Das Gerät verfügt über zwei Kochzonen (1, 5). Das Gerät erkennt automa-
tisch den Bodendurchmesser des verwendeten Kochgeschirrs und aktiviert
entsprechend Kochzone 1 oder Kochzone 1 und 2.
1. Das Gerät an einem geeigneten Aufstellort unter Beachtung der Sicherheitshinweise
sowie der Hinweise am Anfang dieses Kapitels aufstellen.
2. Das Netzkabel vollständig abwickeln.
3. Den Netzstecker in eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte und leicht zugängliche
Steckdose stecken. Ein Signalton ertönt und alle drei Kontrollleuchten (C, D, E), die
Betriebsleuchte (F) sowie das Display (J) leuchten einmal auf. Danach erlöschen
alle Elemente wieder.
4. Einen geeigneten Topf o. Ä. mit Inhalt auf die Glasplatte (6) stellen.
5. Über das Feld (G) das Gerät einschalten. Die Betriebsleuchte leuchtet und das
Gerät befindet sich im Standby.
Wird das Bedienfeld ca. 1 Minute nicht genutzt, ertönt ein Signalton und das
Gerät schaltet sich automatisch aus. Die Betriebsleuchte erlischt.
6. Über das Feld (H) den Heizvorgang starten. Das Gerät befindet sich im Modus
zum Einstellen der Leistung. Die Kontrollleuchte (C) leuchtet und im Display wer-
den die voreingestellten 1 200 W angezeigt.
7. Über die Felder + und – (I, K) die Leistung bzw. über die Felder Max (A) und Min (B)
die maximale bzw. die minimale Leistung einstellen (siehe Kapitel „Funktionen“).
8. Über das Feld den Modus wechseln und über die Felder + und – die Timerzeit ein-
stellen. Auf die gleiche Weise die Temperatur einstellen (siehe Kapitel „Funktionen“).
Das Einstellen des Timers ist optional.
9. Nach Ablauf der Timerzeit ertönt ein Signalton und das Gerät schaltet sich aus. Das
Gerät kann jederzeit über das Feld ausgeschaltet werden. Die Kontrollleuchten,
die Betriebsleuchte und das Display erlöschen.
Beachten: Nach Ablauf der Timerzeit bzw. nach dem manuellen Ausschalten des
Gerätes bleibt der Lüfter aktiv. Dies ist keine Fehlfunktion! Nach ca. 50 Sekunden
schaltet sich der Lüfter ab.
10. Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und das Gerät vollständig abkühlen
lassen.11 DE
Reinigung und Aufbewahrung
BEACHTEN!
■ Vor Beginn der Reinigung die Sicherheitshinweise im Kapitel „Sicherheits-
hinweise“ beachten!
■ Das Gerät ist nicht spülmaschinengeeignet.
■ Keine Reinigungsmittel direkt auf das Gerät sprühen.
■ Das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch reinigen, um Keimbildung vorzubeugen. Keine
Lebensmittelreste antrocknen lassen.
■ Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, rauhen Schwäm-
me oder Messer verwenden. Diese können die Oberflächen beschädigen.
1. Das Gehäuse mit einem weichen, leicht angefeuchtetem Tuch und etwas mildem
Spülmittel reinigen.
2. Die Glasplatte (6) mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch und etwas Spezialreiniger für
Glaskeramik reinigen. Bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen kann ein spezieller Koch-
feldschaber benutzt werden.
3. Das Gerät gründlich abtrocknen, bevor es verstaut wird.
4. Das Netzkabel zum Verstauen niemals eng um das Gerät wickeln.
5. Das Gerät an einem trockenen, vor Sonne geschützten sowie für Kinder und Tiere
unzugänglichen Ort aufbewahren.

Fehlerbehebung und Fehlermeldungen
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, zunächst überprüfen, ob ein
Problem selbst behoben werden kann. Lässt sich mit den genannten Schritten das
Problem nicht lösen, den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen ein defektes, elektrisches Gerät eigenständig zu
reparieren!

Before using the device for the first time, please read the instructions carefully
and keep them for future reference. If the device is given to someone else, these
instructions should also be handed over with it. The manufacturer and importer do not
accept any liability if the information in these instructions is not complied with.

Intended Use
• The device is intended to be used for preparing food in a pot, pan or similar vessel.
• The device is suitable for use with cookware made of stainless steel and with cast-
iron and enamel cookware. It is not suitable for use with cookware made of (alloyed)
aluminium, for example.
• The device is only suitable for use with cookware with a flat base.
• The device is suitable for cookware with a diameter of up to 28 cm (the base diameter
must be no less than approx. 12 cm and no bigger than approx. 25 cm). Smaller or
bigger cookware cannot be used with the device.
• This device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
• Use the device only for the intended purpose and as described in the instructions.
Any other use is deemed to be improper.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han-
dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear
and tear.
Safety Instructions
The device is equipped with safety features. Nevertheless,
the device may still present dangers if it is not used in the
intended way and / or is utilised in some other way. Comply
with the following safety instructions and the procedures that
are specified in these operating instructions.
■ This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and / or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply
with the relevant safety precautions.EN 16
■ Children must not play with the device.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by
children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised.
■ Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept
away from the device and the mains cable.
■ WARNING! If the glass surface of the device is cracked, the de-
vice should be switched off to prevent a possible electric shock.
■ CAUTION: Hot surface! The glass hob will become
very hot during use. Objects made of metal, e. g. knives,
forks, spoons, and lids, should not be placed on the hob
as they may become hot. Do not come into contact with
heated parts while or after using the device! Only touch
the control panel while the device is in operation or im-
mediately after it has been switched off. Wait until the
device has cooled down fully before it is transported or
stored away. Use suitable oven gloves when handling
the device.
■ Never immerse the device, mains cable or mains plug in water
or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or
become wet.
■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when left unattended and before cleaning it.
■ The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer
or a separate remote control system.
■ Check the device for damage each time before you use it. Only
use the device if the device, mains cable and mains plug have
no signs of damage!
■ Do not make any modifications to the device. Also do not re-
place the mains cable yourself. If the device, the mains cable or
the mains plug of the device are damaged, these parts must be
replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or
a similarly qualified person (e. g. specialist workshop) in order
to avoid any hazards.
■ It is essential to follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and
Storage” chapter!17 EN
DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock from Water
■ Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device in rooms
with high humidity.
■ Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not
attempt to pull it out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
■ Never touch the device, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when these
components are connected to the mains power.
■ Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned, fallen or been dropped in water. Have
it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
WARNING – Danger of Electric Shock from Damage and
Inappropriate Use
■ The device should only be connected to a properly installed socket with safety
contacts. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the
technical data of the device.
■ Do not use the device in conjunction with extension cables.
■ The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains plug.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances.
Never operate the device in the vicinity of a gas source.
■ Do not operate the device in the vicinity of combustible material. Do not place any
combustible materials (e.g. cardboard, paper or plastic) on the device.
■ Do not connect the device along with other consumers (with a high wattage) to a
multiple socket in order to prevent overloading and a possible short circuit (fire).
■ Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fire.
Make sure that the ventilation slots on the bottom of the device are not covered up
or blocked. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation while the device is in operation.
■ In the event of a fire:
– Pull the mains plug out immediately.
– Hot fat / oil may catch fire if it is overheated. Do not extinguish burning fat / oil with
water, but smother the flames with a fire blanket or similar cloth or extinguish a fat
fire with a fire extinguisher which is capable of extinguishing fires involving cooking
fat!
– Do NOT use water to extinguish the fire as the steam can pose an additional risk
of scalding.
– Dispose of the device.EN 18
CAUTION – Danger of Injury
Danger of scalding from heat, hot steam or condensation!
■ Hot steam can escape from the cookware on the device during operation. Keep
your head and hands out of the danger zone.
■ The mains cable must not hang down from the surface on which the device is
placed in order to prevent the device together with the cookware from being
pulled down.
■ Do not move the device during use.
■ Danger of tripping! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a
trip hazard.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces (this also applies to the hot surfaces of
the device!).
■ Never spray cold water onto the glass hob during or immediately after use of the
device. This could shatter!
■ Keep metal objects or other sharp objects away from the device. These could dam-
age the glass hob.
■ Never place heavy objects on the device or allow them to drop onto it.
■ Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket if an error occurs
during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■ Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable. When the mains plug is removed
from the plug socket, always pull on the mains plug and never the mains cable.
■ Do not wrap the mains cable around the device.
■ Protect the device from other heat sources, naked flames, sub-zero temperatures,
persistent moisture, wet conditions and impacts.

Safety features
• The device is equipped with an internal timer. Once the timer time which is set has
elapsed, a beep sounds and the device is automatically switched off. The fan remains
active for around 50 seconds after the timer time has elapsed and then switches off.
To switch the device on again, touch field (G) (see the “Functions” chapter).
• The device has overheating protection. If the device gets too hot, it switches off auto-
matically. In this case, allow the device to cool down completely and then switch it on
again (see the “Functions” chapter).EN 20
Functions
• The field Max (A) is used to set the maximum power (2000 watts).
• The field Min (B) is used to set the lowest power (200 watts).
• The control lamp (C) lights up when the device is in the mode for setting the power.
1,200 watts is shown on the display as the presetting.
• The control lamp (D) lights up when the device is in the mode for setting the
temperature. 180 °C is shown on the display as the presetting.
• The control lamp (E) flashes when the device is in the mode for setting the timer.
0 Min. is shown on the display as the presetting. After you have set the timer time you
want, wait for around 5 seconds until the control lamp is lit up constantly. The timer
has been activated.
• The operating lamp (F) lights up when the device is switched on.
• The field (G) is used to switch the device on and off.
• The field (H) is used to switch between the different modes. The modes can be set
in the following sequence: Power – Timer – Temperature – Timer. The corresponding
control lamp lights up or flashes depending on which mode is selected.
• The fields + / – (I / K) can be used to set the desired power (in 200-watt increments),
timer time (in 1-minute increments) or temperature (in 20-degree increments).
If the fields + / – are pressed for an extended period in the mode for setting the
timer time, the fast increment mode can be activated (10-minute increments).
• The display (J) alternately shows the set power and the remaining timer time or the
set temperature and the remaining timer time. The control lamps tell you which value
is shown on the display.
• Press the fields + and – simultaneously to lock the control panel and thus activate
the child safety lock. All operating elements apart from the field are deactivated
and an “L” appears on the display. To unlock the control panel, press the fields +
and – simultaneously. The “L” on the display goes out and the power, timer time and
temperature are displayed alternately.
Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■ There may still be some production residues on the device. You should therefore
clean the device thoroughly before you first use it (see the “Cleaning and Storage”
chapter).
■ Always set up the device with a clear space on all sides (at least 20 cm) and clear
space above it (at least 50 cm) on a dry, flat, solid and heat-resistant surface.
■ Do not place the device below kitchen wall units or similar cupboards. The rising
steam could cause damage to them!
■ The surfaces of furniture may possibly contain elements which can attack and soften
the adjustable feet of the device. If necessary, place a suitable pad below the adjust-
able feet.
■ Do not heat any empty cookware on the device. The cookware could be damaged.21 EN
■ Do not use any cookware whose base contains scratches, score marks or uneven
areas. Do not slide cookware over the glass hob. This could be scratched.
■ Wipe down the glass hob and the bottom of the cookware before use to remove any
dirt. This could scratch the glass hob.
• Induction stoves and induction hobs heat up at a faster rate than other types
of stove.
• Noises may be produced when cookware is used on induction stoves or
induction hobs. These are caused by the electromagnetic properties of
induction stoves or induction hobs and induction cookware and do not
constitute a defect.
• The device has two cooking zones (1, 5). The device automatically detects
the diameter of the bottom of the cookware that is being used and activates
cooking zone 1 or cooking zone 1 and 2 accordingly.
1. Set up the device in a suitable location, following the safety instructions and the notes
provided at the beginning of this chapter.
2. Fully unwind the mains cable.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed socket that is easily accessible. A beep
sounds and all three control lamps (C, D, E), the operating lamp (F) and the display (J)
light up once. All elements then go out again.
4. Place a suitable pan or similar vessel with contents on the glass hob (6).
5. Switch on the device using the field (G). The operating lamp lights up and the
device is on standby.
If the control panel is not used for around 1 minute, a beep sounds and the
device switches off automatically. The operating lamp goes out.
6. Start the heating process using the field (H). The device is in the mode for setting
the power. The control lamp (C) lights up and the preset 1,200 W is shown on the
display.
7. Use the fields + and – (I, K) to set the power and the fields Max (A) and Min (B) to
set the maximum or minimum power (see the “Functions” chapter).
8. Use the field to change mode and use the fields + and – to set the timer time. Set
the temperature in the same way (see the “Functions” chapter).
Setting the timer is optional.
9. Once the timer time has elapsed, a beep sounds and the device is switched off. The
device can be switched off at any time using the field . The control lamps, the
operating lamp and the display go out.
Please Note: After the timer time has elapsed or the device is switched off manually,
the fan continues to operate. This is not a malfunction! The fan switches off after
around 50 seconds.
10. Pull the mains plug out of the socket and allow the device to cool down completely.EN 22
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■ Before commencing the cleaning, note the safety instructions in the “Safety
Instructions” chapter!
■ The device is not dishwasher-safe.
■ Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the device.
■ Clean the device after every use to prevent the formation of germs. Do not allow food
residues to dry on.
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or knives to
clean the device. These could damage the surfaces.
1. Clean the housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild detergent.
2. Clean the glass hob (6) with a soft, damp cloth and a little special cleaner for glass
ceramic. A special hob scraper may be used to remove stubborn dirt.
3. Thoroughly dry off the device before it is stored away.
4. Never wind the mains cable tightly around the device for storage.
5. Store the device in a dry place that is protected from sunlight and is not accessible
to children and animals.

■ N’utilisez pas l’appareil en cas de dysfonctionnement, s’il est tombé par terre ou
encore dans l’eau. Avant toute remise en service, faites-le contrôler dans un atelier
spécialisé.
AVERTISSEMENT – Risque d’électrocution par suite d’un
endommagement et d’une utilisation inadéquate
■ Branchez l’appareil uniquement sur une prise installée de façon réglementaire et
mise à la terre. La prise doit rester facilement accessible même après le branche-
ment de telle sorte que l’on puisse rapidement couper l’alimentation de l’appareil. La
tension du secteur doit correspondre aux caractéristiques techniques de l’appareil.
■ N’utilisez pas l’appareil avec une rallonge électrique.
■ Avant de retirer la fiche de la prise de courant, ou de la brancher, veillez à ce que
l’interrupteur de l’appareil se trouve en position d’arrêt.
AVERTISSEMENT – Risque d’incendie
■ N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans des locaux renfermant des substances facilement
inflammables ou explosives. N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité d’une source de gaz.
■ N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité de matériaux combustibles. Ne posez pas de
matières inflammables (par ex. du carton, du papier, du plastique) sur l’appareil.
■ Ne branchez pas l’appareil avec d’autres consommateurs (puissants) sur une multi-
prise afin d’éviter toute surcharge, voire un court-circuit (incendie).
■ Afin d’éviter tout risque d’incendie de l’appareil, ne le couvrez pas lorsqu’il est en
cours de fonctionnement. Veillez à ce que les fentes d’aération en face inférieure de
l’appareil ne soient pas recouvertes ou obstruées. Veillez à une ventilation suffisante
durant le fonctionnement de l’appareil.
■ En cas d’incendie :
– Il faut impérativement débrancher sans délai la fiche de la prise de courant.
– La graisse ou l’huile très chaude peuvent s’enflammer en cas de surchauffe. Ne
cherchez pas à éteindre de la graisse ou de l’huile en flammes avec de l’eau, mais
étouffez les flammes par exemple à l’aide d’une couverture ignifuge, ou éteignez
la graisse ou l’huile en feu à l’aide d’un extincteur adapté aux feux causés par la
graisse alimentaire.
– N’utilisez PAS d’eau pour éteindre le feu car la vapeur d’eau créerait un risque de
brûlure supplémentaire.
– Mettez l’appareil au rebut.29 FR
ATTENTION – Risque de blessure
Risque de brûlure par la chaleur, le dégagement de vapeur très chaude ou d’eau
de condensation !
■ Pendant le fonctionnement de l’appareil, de la vapeur brûlante est susceptible de
s’échapper de la vaisselle utilisée pour la cuisson. Tenez votre tête et vos mains
éloignées de la zone de danger !
■ Le cordon d’alimentation ne doit pas pendre du plan de travail sur lequel est posé
l’appareil, pour ne pas risquer d’entraîner la chute de l’appareil et de la vaisselle
placée dessus.
■ Ne déplacez pas l’appareil pendant son utilisation.
■ Risque de chute ! Afin que personne ne risque de trébucher, veillez à ce que le
cordon d’alimentation branché ne gêne pas le passage.
AVIS – Pour éviter tout risque de dégâts matériels
■ Veillez à ce que le cordon d’alimentation ne soit ni pincé, ni coincé, ni posé sur des
bords saillants et qu’il n’entre pas en contact avec des surfaces chaudes (ceci vaut
également pour les surfaces chaudes de l’appareil !).
■ Ne projetez jamais d’eau froide sur la plaque en verre chaude lorsque l’appareil est
en marche ou immédiatement après son utilisation. Celle-ci risquerait d’éclater.
■ Veillez à ce qu’aucun objet métallique ni d’autre objet aux arêtes vives ne se trouve à
proximité de l’appareil, ceux-ci risquant d’endommager la plaque en verre.
■ Ne posez jamais et ne faites jamais tomber d’objets lourds sur l’appareil.
■ Arrêtez l’appareil et retirez la fiche de la prise de courant si un dysfonctionnement
survient en cours d’utilisation ou en cas d’orage.
■ N’utilisez jamais le cordon d’alimentation pour tirer ou porter l’appareil. Pour extraire
la fiche de la prise de courant, tirez toujours sur la fiche, jamais sur le cordon
d’alimentation.
■ N’enroulez pas le cordon autour de l’appareil même.
■ Veillez à ce que l’appareil ne soit pas soumis à des chocs ; maintenez-le éloigné
de toute autre source de chaleur ou flamme ; ne l’exposez pas à des températures
négatives ni trop longtemps à l’humidité, et ne le mouillez pas.

■ AVERTISSEMENT – Risque de suffocation ! Ne laissez pas les emballages à la
portée des enfants ou des animaux.
■ N’ôtez jamais la plaque signalétique de l’appareil ni les éventuelles mises en garde
apposées.
• Sortez toutes les pièces de leur emballage et ôtez les films et adhésifs éventuelle-
ment présents. Assurez-vous que l’ensemble livré est complet et ne présente pas de
dommage imputable au transport. Si des éléments présentent des dommages, ne les
