Lech Zürs am Arlberg ist ein beliebtes Reiseziel für anspruchsvolle
Naturliebhaber, Kulturfreunde und Aktivurlauber – ob im Winter oder im
Sommer. Auch 2020 bietet der Lecher Bergsommer ein abwechslungsreiches
kulturelles und sportliches Veranstaltungsprogramm vor der traumhaften
Bergkulisse des Arlbergs. Wir freuen uns besonders auf Highlights wie unsere
Oldtimerrallye, das hochkarätige Gesundheitssymposium Medicinicum
Lech oder das musikalische Highlight des Sommers – das Lech Classic
Festival. Das sportliche Highlight: „Der Weiße Ring - Die Trailchallenge“ -
ein Trailrunning-Wettbewerb, die auf der Strecke der legendären Skirunde
ausgetragen wird. Wir freuen uns auf einen abwechslungsreichen Sommer
voller Veranstaltungen in Lech Zürs am Arlberg.
Lech Zürs am Arlberg is a popular destination for discerning nature and culture
lovers as well as active holiday adventurers – both in summer and winter. In 2020,
Lech‘s Alpine summer will once again offer a diverse calendar of cultural and sport
events in front of the spectacular mountain backdrop of the Arlberg. We are looking
forward on a summer full of events like Arlberg Classic Car Rally, Lech Classic
Festival or the new trailrunning event: „The White Ring - The Trailchallenge“.

Wie klingt Lech? Die Ausstellung erzählt von den lauten und leisen Seiten
des Ortes, von gegenwärtigen und vergangenen Klängen. Wir gehen auch
gemeinsam auf Klangspaziergänge oder sammeln „Hörenswürdigkeiten“.
Lassen auch Sie sich zum Hören anstiften!
Die Ausstellung ist zweisprachig (D, E) und für Kinder und Familien
geeignet.
How does Lech sound? The exhibition tells the loud and quiet aspects of the place, of
present and past sounds. We also organize sound walks or collect „listening objects“.
Let us encourage you to listen!
The exhibition is bilingual (D, E) and suitable for children and families.

Der Panoramaberg Rüfikopf ist für Genießer & Wanderer ideal. Viele
Wanderungen – Grüner Ring, Geoweg, Monzabonsee, Rüfispitze – können
von der Bergstation der Rüfikopf Seilbahn gestartet werden. Der 360-Grad
Panoramablick auf der Aussichtsplattform sorgt für Staunen, die Fernsicht
ist atemberaubend. Zahlreiche wöchentliche Veranstaltungen im Panorama-
Restaurant Rüfikopf runden das tolle Angebot am Berg ab.
The Rüfikopf panoramic mountain is the perfect destination for food-lovers
and walkers alike. Many walking trails – Grüner Ring, Geoweg, Monzabonsee,
Rüfispitze – start from the mountain station of the Rüfikopf cable car. The viewing
platform has breathtaking, 360-degree panoramic views stretching off into the
distance. A number of weekly events in the Rüfikopf panoramic restaurant round off
the excellent range of facilities on the mountain.

Classic Golf Cup
Der 19 Hektar große, Handicap-wirksame 9-Loch-Golfplatz in Lech-
Zug ist die „perfekte Spielwiese mitten in der Natur“ und bietet Golfern
jeglicher Spielstärke mit PAR 66 eine spannende, aber realisierbare
Herausforderung. Am 24. Juni 2020 findet, im Rahmen der Arlberg Classic
Car Rally, ein Golfturnier der besonderen Art statt. Beim Arlberg Classic

The 9-hole golf course in Lech-Zug covers an area of 19 hectares, follows the handicap
system and is a perfect course in the heart of spectacular countryside. With a par of
66, it offers golfers of all standards an exciting but surmountable challenge.
On 24 June 2020, you can put your skills to the test during the Arlberg Classic Car
Rally. At the Arlberg Classic Golf Cup, guests play together with hoteliers and locals,

Classic Car Rally
Die Arlberg Classic Car Rally geht in die zweite Dekade. In der 11. Auflage
bleiben wir dem Motto treu: Mit Freunden durch alpine Traumkulissen
rund um Lech Zürs am Arlberg.
Lech verwandelt sich am letzten Juni-Wochenende in ein Eldorado für
Oldtimerfreunde und Autoliebhaber. Die Vielfalt an Marken und Modellen
von damals und nicht zuletzt die Streckenauswahl machen die Arlberg
Classic Car Rally zu etwas Besonderem. Auch im Sommer 2020 wird das
Team rund um Rennleiter Armin Schwarz für ein abwechslungsreiches
Streckenprofil sorgen. Wir freuen uns auf ein buntes Starterfeld und viele
Zuschauer entlang der Strecke.
The Arlberg Classic Car Rally is entering its second decade. In the 11th edition we
remain true to the motto: With friends through heavenly alpine scenery around Lech
Zürs am Arlberg.
On the last weekend of June, Lech turns into an Eldorado for classic car enthusiasts
and car lovers. The variety of brands and models from back then and not least the
choice of courses are what make the Arlberg Classic Car Rally so special. Also in
summer 2020 the team around rally director Armin Schwarz will provide a varied
track profile. We are looking forward to a colourful field of starters and many

Herbs Lab
Die Kräuterwerkstatt ist ein Raum für Natur, Spiritualität, Ideen, Gefühle,
Genuss und ganz viel Freude. Die Angebote sind vielseitig. Bei einer
ausgedehnten Kräuterwanderung werden viele Alpenkräuter gezeigt und
deren Heilwirkung und Verwendung erklärt. Als Teilnehmer sammeln
Sie die Kräuter für Ihre kleine Kräuterjause und für die Herstellung
verschiedenster Kräuterprodukte selbst.
Beim Doldenblütlerseminar entdecken Sie die Vielfalt der Pflanzengattung.
Unter ihnen findet man Gewürzpflanzen wie Nahrungspflanzen und auch
so manche giftige Art.
Auch den Wurzeln wird die Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet: Beim Wurzeltag
finden sich Pflanzen, deren Wurzeln eine große Heilkraft besitzen.

are versatile: During an extensive herbal hike, many alpine herbs are shown and
their healing effect and use are explained. As a participant you will collect the herbs
for your little herbal snack yourself.
There are over 400 genera of umbellifers. You will discover the diversity of this plant
species. Among them one finds spice plants like food plants and also some poisonous
species.

Lecher Dorffest
Lech Village Festival
Am 18. Juli 2020 lädt Lech einmal mehr zum traditionellen Lecher Dorffest
am Rüfiplatz. Eröffnet wird das Dorffest von der Bauernkapelle der Stadt
Bludenz, die mit ihren Stücken gleich zu Beginn für ordentliche Stimmung
sorgen wird. Abends geht es mit der Band Alpenbrass Tirol weiter. Für das
kulinarische Wohl sorgen wieder die Lecher Betriebe. Dazu kommen viel
Musik, bunte Attraktionen für Groß und Klein.
On the 18th of July 2020, Lech will again be holding the traditional Lech Village
Festival on the Rüfiplatz square. It will be opened by the „Bauernkapelle“ of
the city Bludenz. The various catering establishments in Lech will satisfy your
culinary needs. There will also be lots of music, and colourful attractions for young
and old.

13. Lecher Musikantentag
13th Lech Musicians Day
Ein Muss für alle Liebhaber volksmusikalischer Klänge ist der Lecher
Musikantentag am 01. August 2020. Nationale und internationale
Musikanten verwandeln Lech in eine Konzertbühne. Nach der Eröffnung
auf dem Rüfiplatz spielen, singen und tanzen die Gruppen auf Hütten
und Almen, auf sonnigen Hotelterrassen und in blühenden Gärten. Den
Abschluss des Lecher Musikantentags bildet ein festlicher Gottesdienst,
gefolgt von einem geselligen Abend mit Musik und Tanz.
The Lech Musicians Day is a must for all folk music lovers and will take place on
01 August 2020. National and international artists will turn Lech into a concert
stage. After the opening ceremony on Rüfiplatz square, the groups will sing and dance
in mountain huts, on mountain pastures, on sunny hotel terraces and in gardens full of
flowers. And to end Lech Musicians‘ Day, there will be a celebratory mass, followed
by a convivial evening of music and dance.

Soccer Camp
Spielen wie die Profis! Während Sie den Urlaubstag nach Ihren Vorstellungen
gestalten, sind Ihre Kinder sportlich und pädagogisch in den Händen von
qualifizierten und lizenzierten Fußballtrainern. Kinder und Jugendliche
zwischen 6 und 16 Jahren können bei der Fußballschule teilnehmen,
unabhängig davon, ob sie in einem Verein spielen oder als Freizeitspieler
auf dem Fußballplatz stehen. Die Betreuung erfolgt von lizenzierten
Trainern sowie hauptberuflichen Sportpädagogen. Die Teilnehmer folgen
einem kompletten Trainingsplan, der von Fußball- und Sportlehrer Lothar
Strehlau erstellt wurde.
Play like the pros! While you organise your holiday according to your ideas, your
children are in the hands of qualified and licensed football coaches. Children and
young people between the ages of 6 and 16 can take part in the football school
regardless of club or leisure players. The support is provided by licensed coaches and
full-time sports pedagogues. The participants follow a complete training plan, which
was provided by football and sport teacher, Lothar Strehlau.

Happy birthday, dear Beethoven!
Das 9. Lech Classic Festival feiert den 250. Geburtstag von Ludwig
van Beethoven. Alle 6 Konzerte sind ausschließlich Kompositionen
des Jahresregenten gewidmet. Zur Aufführung gelangen u. a. alle 5
Klavierkonzerte, das Violinkonzert, eine konzertante Aufführung der Oper
„Fidelio“ und der 4. Satz aus der 9. Sinfonie mit der „Ode an die Freude“.
Herausragende internationale Vokal- und Instrumentalsolisten werden das
musikalisch anspruchsvolle Programm interpretieren.
Ein Fest für Beethoven eben.
Musik ist eine Himmelsmacht.

The 9th Lech Classic Festival celebrates the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beetho-
ven. All 6 concerts are dedicated exclusively to compositions of the famous musician.
The performances include all 5 piano concertos, the violin concerto, a concertante
performance of the opera „Fidelio“ and the 4th movement from the 9th symphony
with the „Ode to Joy“. Outstanding international vocal- and instrumental soloists
are interpreting the musically sophisticated program.

Sternschnuppen kann man mit viel Geduld und etwas Glück in jeder Nacht
bewundern. Die Sternschnuppenausbeute ist übers Jahr ungleich verteilt.
Zu den verlässlichsten Meteorströmen zählen die Perseiden. Zwischen dem
9. und 14. August darf man im Maximum jede Minute eine Sternschnuppe
erwarten. Eine gute Gelegenheit, Wünsche wahr werden zu lassen – denn
der Volksmund weiß, dass bei jeder Sichtung ein Wunsch in Erfüllung ge-
hen wird. Die beste Beobachtungszeit ist zwischen 22 Uhr und 4 Uhr mor-
gens. Gehen Sie mit uns direkt auf dem Rüfikopf auf Sternschnuppenjagd!
With a little bit of luck and lots of patience, you will be able to see shooting stars
almost every night. However, not every night during the year provides the same
number of shooting stars. The Perseids rank among the most reliable meteor showers.
Between the 9th and 14th of August one can expect to see a maximum of one shooting
star every minute. A great chance to make a wish or two. After all, every sighting
makes one wish come true, as they say. The best time to spot shooting stars is between
10 pm to 4 am in the morning. Join our hunt for shooting stars on top of Rüfikopf!

Im Mittelpunkt des Musikevents steht Jazz in allen Varianten, aber auch
Zeitgenössisches hat einen großen Stellenwert. Qualität und Authentizität
der Musik sind für uns ausschlaggebend; so gastieren Jazzmusiker mit
internationalem Ruf. An fünf Abenden sind verschiedene Jazzkünstler und
-gruppen in Lech am Arlberg zu Gast. In privater Atmosphäre kommen
Konzertgäste den Interpreten so nahe, wie es an anderen Orten selten
möglich ist.
The focus at this musical event is on jazz in all its varieties, and great importance is
also attached to contemporary music. As the quality and authenticity of the music is
a crucial factor for us, the event will feature jazz musicians with an international
reputation. On five evenings, various jazz artists and groups will be guests in Lech
am Arlberg. In a private atmosphere, concert guests come as close to the performers

Der Weiße Ring – Die Trailchallenge
The White Ring – The Trailchallenge
Am 22. August 2020 werden neue Heldinnen und Helden gesucht.
Gemeinsam erobern sie den legendären Weißen Ring. Um genau zu sein,
sind es: 2.300 Höhenmeter und 28,9 Kilometer in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
wie beim Skirennen im Winter. Es geht über Wiesen und Pfade von Lech
nach Zug, über das anspruchsvolle Madloch nach Zürs und anschließend
auf den Rüfikopf mit dem Schlussabstieg in das Ziel nach Lech.
Wer ist bereit für diese Herausforderung?
On the 22nd August 2020, new heroes will be wanted. Together they conquer the
legendary White Ring. To be exact, this means: 2,300 metres in altitude and 28,9
kilometres in reverse direction to the ski race in winter. The route leads over meadows
and paths from Lech to Zug, over the challenging Madloch to Zürs and then on to the
Rüfikopf with the final descent to the finish in Lech.

Ende August laden die Zuger Wirte zu kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten und
Weinspezialitäten ein. Direkt vor dem Kirchle in Zug wird bei Live-
Musik mit Einheimischen und Gästen gefeiert. Familien sind besonders
willkommen, es gibt nämlich auch ein spezielles Kinderprogramm.

und Geschicklichkeitstest. Zu erringen gilt es die Grand-Arlberg-Trophys
aus echtem Bergkristall! Herrliche Ausfahrten in der wunderbaren
Berglandschaft am und rund um den Arlberg. Dazu unterhält ein
Rahmenprogramm auf höchstem Niveau, mit Live-Musik, Performance-
Künstlern, Scooter-Akrobaten, Expo, Museum und neuesten Scooter-
Präsentationen – alles direkt im Herzen von Lech am Arlberg.
For the third time we are looking forward to the four-day Vespa meeting for
Vespisti and Scooteristi from all over the world with a two-day scooter rally for 100
participants with time and stamp controls, special stages and skill tests. The Grand
Arlberg trophies made of real rock crystal must be won! Wonderful excursions in the
amazing mountain landscape at and around the Arlberg. In addition, a supporting
program at the highest level, with live music, performance artists, Scooter acrobats,

Trans Vorarlberg Triathlon
Der Trans Vorarlberg wird seinem Namen gerecht: Eines der größten
Triathlon-Events Österreichs deckt fast das ganze Spektrum Vorarlberger
Landschaftsvielfalt ab. Auf 1,2 Kilometer Schwimmen im Bodensee
folgen satte 93 Kilometer Radfahren durch den Bregenzerwald und
eine abschließende 12-Kilometer-Laufstrecke in der imposanten
Gebirgskulisse von Lech am Arlberg.
Der Trans Vorarlberg ist eines meiner
absoluten Lieblingsrennen und findet direkt
vor meiner Haustüre statt.

Geschichtsbüchern fest. Im medialen Zeitalter der Ablenkung fehlt uns
dennoch leider oft die Zeit, uns auf Texte, Sprachkunst und Wortgewalt
einzulassen – doch das hat jetzt ein Ende. Bereits zum vierten Mal finden
in Lech Zürs die Literaturtage statt. Gönnen Sie sich eine literarische
Auszeit am Berg.
The 4th Lech Literature Days are an attempt to celebrate language as an art form
within the scope of a symposium. Participants are encouraged to take time to become
immersed in text, the art of language and eloquence, far from the stresses of everyday
life. Visitors will also have a chance to experience an exciting combination of art and
nature, if they wish.

Mit dem Best of the Alps Golf Cup wurde ein länderübergreifender Bewerb
gegründet, der ausschließlich auf Golfplätzen in den europäischen Alpen
gespielt wird. Das variantenreiche Gelände, in dem sich jeder einzelne
Platz vom anderen unterscheidet, und die beeindruckenden Bergkulissen
machen den Best of the Alps Golf Cup so einzigartig.
Gestartet wird auf der 9-Loch-Golfanlage von St. Anton am Arlberg
bevor wir zum Golfclub in Lech wechseln. Der 9-Loch-Golfplatz im
idyllischen Zugertal ist der höchstgelegene Österreichs und entlang des
wild romantischen Lech-Flusses angelegt.
With the Best of the Alps Golf Cup, an international competition was founded, which
exclusively takes place on golf courses in the European Alps. The varied terrain, in
which each course differs from the other, and the impressive mountain scenery make
the Best of the Alps Golf Cup so unique.
We start on the 9-hole golf course of St. Anton am Arlberg, before we change to the
golf club in Lech. The 9-hole golf course in the idyllic Zugertal is the highest golf
course in Austria and is situated along the wildly romantic Lech River.

Fake News, Verschwörungstheorien, Medienblasen, virtuelle Welten,
digitale Fälschungen, Lügengebäude aller Art: Unsere Welt scheint
durchdrungen vom Verdacht, dass ein Netz von Fiktionen, Illusionen und
Täuschungsmanövern unser Denken und Handeln zunehmend bestimmt
und dass die Wirklichkeit immer schwerer zu fassen ist. Woher aber
rührt diese Faszination der Fiktionen? Und ließe sich ein Leben ohne sie
überhaupt denken?
Das 24. Philosophicum Lech wird sich dieser Kraft der Fiktionen
widmen. Wie wirken Fiktionen in den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen
unseres Lebens, von der Kunst bis zur Wissenschaft, von der Liebe bis

wir diese Fiktionen und wann werden sie gefährlich, wie viel Wahrheit
verträgt der Mensch überhaupt und wie viele Täuschungen gehören zu

all sorts of lies: our world seems pervaded by the suspicion that a web of fictions,
