Wolle und Sommer. Geht das überhaupt?
Wir sind überzeugt, dass unsere Lieblingsfaser Merino-Wolle auch in der warmen
Jahreszeit ihre Berechtigung hat. Wolle gleicht warme und kalte Temperaturen sehr gut
aus. Sie nimmt Schmutz und Gerüche kaum auf und fühlt sich als feine Merino-Wolle
wunderbar weich auf der Haut an. So ist Merino-Wolle die ideale Faser für unsere
Frühjahr | Sommer – Kleidung für Kinder.
Mit einem ganz leichten, nur ca. 260 g/m² schweren Wollwalkstoff machen wir dieses
besondere Material auch für die warme Jahreszeit tragbar. Viel Entwicklungsarbeit war
notwendig, um die spezielle disana Qualität unseres bekannten Walkstoffs auch auf sein
„Sommer“- Pendant zu übertragen.
Ein einfädiges, federleichtes Gestrick für unsere Lang- und Kurzarm-Pullover ergänzt unser
Frühjahr/Sommer-Programm ganz wunderbar.

Wool and summer. Is this possible?
We’re convinced that our favourite fibre merino wool can be worn in the warm season too.
Wool can balance warm and cold temperatures very well. It’s hardly absorbing dirt and
odours and feels perfectly soft on the skin. This makes merino wool the ideal fibre for our
Spring/Summer collection for children.
By using a very light boiled-wool - weighting only 260 g/m² - we make this special material
wearable in the warm season too. A lot of development work was necessary to carry over the
special disana quality of our popular boiled-wool to the summer equivalent.
A single-thread, very light knitted fabric for the long and short sleeve jumper is complementing
our Spring/Summer programme very well. The left knit makes it unmistakably a disana article.

Facts
The articles of our Spring/Sum-
mer programme are coloured
with synthetic, so-called reactive
dyes. Those dyes are characte-
rised by a high fastness. That
means they don’t wash or bleach 366 Wildbeere
out, are resistant to baby saliva dry rose
and have a luminous colour
reproduction.
Our reactive dyes are considered
as ecologically harmless and
meet the strict criteria of GOTS.
The yarn is dyed before the
process of making a fabric out of
it. When dying we take the strict
German and Austrian standards 521 Apfelgrün
into account. The dye works for granny smith
all our disana yarns are located in
those 2 countries.
