• Absolute Schneegarantie. Von Oktober bis Mai ist in
Sölden Skifahren angesagt. Grund dafür? Die Höhenlage
des Skigebiets auf 1.350 bis auf 3.340 m.
• Hoch hinaus. Die Gaislachkoglbahn und Giggijochbahn
sind die zwei beförderungsstärksten Zubringerbahnen der
Welt und ermöglichen es, stündlich 8.100 Menschen im
Skigebiet zu verteilen.
• Grenzenloses Skivergnügen. Mit insgesamt 429 ha
Pistenfläche, und somit nicht mehr als 25 Skifahrer pro
Hektar, bietet das Skigebiet Sölden viel Platz für weite
Schwünge. Von den 144 Pistenkilometern sind 48,6 %
blaue Pisten, 31,1 % rote Pisten und 19,0 % schwarze
Pisten.
• BIG 3. Sölden ist Österreichs einziger Skiort, der drei
Dreitausender mit modernsten Seilbahn-Anlagen er-

lift from 1986 and takes guests to new heights faster and
more comfortably. The 23 cabins can transport 1,330 pas-
sengers per hour. From the entrance at the Obstler hut via
the middle station at Sonnblick to the exit at the Giggijoch
restaurant, passengers can expect a leap of quality – the
significantly reduced journey time is less than six minutes
per direction. In addition, the deceleration of the cabins in
the barrier-free entry and exit area makes everything a lot

ZUBEREITUNG | PREPARATION
Die Pflaumen waschen und gut abtropfen, dann entkernen und in winzig
kleine Würfel schneiden. Mit Gelierzucker mischen und zwei Stunden lang
ziehen lassen. Alles in einen Topf geben und mit den Gewürzen unter ständi-
gem Rühren zum Kochen bringen. Nach drei Minuten die Gewürze entfernen
und die Marmelade mit Zirbenschnaps aromatisieren. Anschließend sofort in
sterile Gläser abfüllen und gut verschließen.

bring to the boil with the spices while stirring constantly. After three minu-

Den Kürbis und alle restlichen Zutaten beigeben und zugedeckt ca. 60 Minuten bei kleiner Hitze köcheln. Sobald der Kürbis weich ist und
die Flüssigkeit verdunstet ist, das Chutney in Gläser füllen und sofort verschließen. Im Kühlschrank aufbewahren.

and night-time operation between 10.45 p.m. and 1.30 a.m. Up you go
either on foot or by minibus. After a leisurely stop at the Gasthof Sil-
bertal, where you can borrow toboggans for the descent, you return to
the valley under the starry sky. A must for young and old! During the day,
the newly built, family-friendly toboggan run from the middle station of
the Gaislachkoglbahn to Sölden is where the fun is at. With a length of
