ZERMATT. Rundherum thronen die Walliser Viertausender und mittendrin
reihen sich pittoreske Walserhäuser aneinander. Von oben scheint die
Sonne herab, hier häufiger als anderswo, und von unten kommen Gäste hi
nauf, um sich an ihr zu erfreuen und am Schnee, den Bergen, dem Dorf. Hier
fährt man hoch, um runterzufahren. Hier schaltet man ab, um aufzuladen.
UNPLUGGED. Hier spielt die Musik – während 5 Tagen, auf 17 Bühnen und
an über 100 Konzerten, unverstärkt und echt. Hier sind sich Publikum und
Künstler so nah, wie sonst selten – verbunden durch die Musik und verbun
den mit der Natur. Mit Konzerten, die draussen spielen und vor atem
beraubender Kulisse – mal oben auf dem Berg, mal mitten im Dorf. Mit ei
nem Line-up, so facettenreich und hochkarätig, und mit musikalischen
Höhepunkten – von Dido bis Gérard Depardieu. Von Cervelat am Stecken
bis zu Gommer Cholera mit Trüffelduft: Gutes Essen gehört zum guten
Ton. Und wo einheimische Gastronomie auf herzliche Gastfreundschaft
trifft, da gibt der gute Geschmack den Takt an.
ZERMATT. The Valais four–thousanders are enthroned around and in the mid-
dle of it all are picturesque Walser houses lined next to each other. The sun
shines down from above, more often here than elsewhere, and guests come
up from below to enjoy it and the snow, the mountains, the village. Here you
drive up to go down. Here you switch off to recharge.
UNPLUGGED. Here the music plays – during 5 days, on 17 stages and at over
100 concerts, unamplified and real. Here the audience and artists are closer
than rarely otherwise – connected by music and connected to nature. With
concerts that play outside and against a breathtaking backdrop – sometimes
up in the mountains, sometimes in the middle of the village. With a line-up as
varied and first rate, and with musical highlights – from Dido to Gérard Depar-
dieu. From grilled cervelat to savory Gommer pastry with a truffle scent: Good
food is considered good form. And where local gastronomy meets warm hospi-
tality, good taste sets the precedent.
